Worst management company ever! Been living at the wharf apartments for almost two years now and it’s still incomplete. Simple tasks like the windows being cleaned and our grass being cut never get done. The building is dirty, carpets stained and walls scuffed, yet we are paying a high amount of service charge collectively as a building of 45 apartments. The building isn’t secure, we have youths breaking in and people don’t feel safe in their apartments. The MCR building manager, Michelle promises everything but delivers on NOTHING! From start to finish the service from MCR Homes has been great, fast and efficient, in particular from Lisa Riley who was helpful and kept me up to date from the very beginning of the application to the key handover at the property.

Renting under a different company but this property group owns the building. The bins haven't been emptied in 3 weeks and when we phone up they just say its being sorted when it clearly hasn't. It's becoming a health hazard to the point my partner and I are scared to produce waste for fear of going down there. Also as the car park is next to the bins, we are worried about our car because if people don't care about the bins, why would they car about a car near the bins.... Read more

As MCR just don’t reply to the solicitors, I’ve been waiting over 2 months for the final enquiries to be replied and MCR just aren’t responding. It’s been an incredibly frustrating sale purely due to MCR not responding

Worst service customer!! I had to wait for them 3 months to come look in the apartment for the washing machine because it was not installed correctly from the beginning, so for the 3 months i was not using the washing machine i had to wash them by hand.
Today is still not fixed, I don’t know if they will fix it or if they will ever to come to fix anything..

Purchased a buy to let apartment at the newly converted St Bartholomew's hospital, Rochester in March 2023, then in April, water started pouring through the sitting room ceiling and upper window ledges from the roof above, this was reported to their Living team to resolve, we were told it was being looked into, then completely left in the dark with no update for weeks.
In the meantime, whenever it rained, my tenant was living with the new water feature pouring into the sitting room.
Fast forward to early June, water ingress worsens, again reported to the Living team, property manager advises of a hole in the roof being investigated by developers, but still water continues to pour into the apartment whenever it rains, property manager leaves company.
Leaks continue and now spread to the bedroom from upper window and along the north/south wall, again tenant continues to live in these awful conditions, managing two water features (see attached photographs) at no point do the Living team offer help to clear up the internal mess or provide a firm date for the investigation.
September arrives with heavy storms, leaks continue to worsen, Living team informed, again we are told the developers are investigating the exterior again.
New property manager informs there has been a leak in the apartment above which is being investigated, but again we are left in the dark for weeks on end with no update, new property manager leaves.
Then the assistant property manager after looking at the photographs implies it is condensation!
Countless emails and phone message have been sent to their Living team over the past five months, requesting updates and to provide a date when this will finally be properly investigated and resolved, but they prefer to ignore emails and not respond to voicemails or even answer the phone, if you are lucky to get through you are met with aggression and rudeness, but this is from a company who promote "client care is our highest priority"!
The complaints procedure has been followed, firstly with their Living manager and secondly with their director, both replies were inadequate and failed to identify the problem and provide a solution and date for this nightmare to end.
We were told the situation is being made a priority so many times now and been offered countless apologies, it is now beyond a joke, this company simple do not care about maintaining their properties or their tenants and landlords welfare, one thing they do care about is the profit and sale of their projects, as quickly and cheaply as possible.
The next stage for me will be the property ombudsman, trading standards and property solicitors, these I hope will have the power to intervene, resolve and put and end to this poor unacceptable level of service and behaviour.... Read more

This company should give up. Staff are incompetent, rude or both. One of their buildings in High Wycombe is a year behind schedule and partially collapsed over Xmas holidays, destroying two vehicles. For some reason it’s hard to get a cheque signed by this company, they have came up with every excuse under the sun. No one seems to know what they are doing and are extremely unhelpful. we moved into one of regency residentials properties (also trade under the name of MCR Homes as well as lots of other companies registered at the same address). everything was well to start, however i became chairman of the residents association and just before easter i emailed Stephanie & Kirsty to advise we were seeking legal advice with regards to a couple of ongoing issues that the residents had, this was around 530pm on the Thursday, Friday and Monday were bank holidays, so on the next working day they issued a section 21 notice giving us two months to leave.
they have a tendency when they DO respond to emails and they don't want to talk about it any more they then shut the conversation down by saying "we are not willing to discuss the issue anymore", or just ignoring the issues.
then threatened me with legal action when i said that i might go to another site they are working on and handing out leaflets advising people to check out their Trustpilot page before signing anything.

Dismal company. I live in one of their overpriced apartments in Sheffield and the fire alarm outside has been blasting non-stop for the past 60 hours. It makes it extremely difficult to sleep, let alone relax. In order to turn the alarm off, it requires a special key that they have. If Regency Residental are trying to sell you a flat do not buy it. They are the same as MCR property group and both provide absolutely shocking service.
Regency service is shocking because they lie and the apartments they sale as unfinished and the worst built apartments I have ever stayed in.
MCR property group are even worse as the staff are incredibly rude. We were dealing with Eesha who was rude on multiple occasions and was utterly useless, unless she was asking for money. Our service charge was raised within 6 months of us moving into the property.
The new built property was leaking from the roof since day one and had black mould in the building. Our apartment has basically no installation, our kitchen was falling apart, our dishwasher didn’t work and we had to wait nearly a year for this to be resolved, we can hear are neighbours through the walls and the bin rooms was neglected by MCR property.
We have had to spend extra money to resolve the issues that MCR were incapable of doing.
Awful awful company - no matter how regency Residental or MCR properties try to sell you the idea of a new apartment, don’t be convince - they are not worth the stress. They should be shut down.
MCR cut there loses by selling the apartment block to another property management, leaving us and the new management with a building that is falling apart. CROOKS.

I wish I could give 0 stars, and that still wouldn't be low enough. I have been trying to resolve issues since January 2020 and I am still no closer to a conclusion. MCR are an awful company who don't respond to emails (and on the rare occasion they do respond, they lie). They do not fulfil their legal obligations and seem to have no communication between their various departments. They demand money but do not carry out their legal duties. The fixtures and fittings that they use are of poor quality and evidence of trying to cut corners. An example of this is purchasing a new build property and it transpiring that the integrated dishwasher was not a new machine as it should have been. Absolutely appalling and immoral company with wholly incompetent staff.... Read more

MCR refuse to pay small local businesses for services rendered several months ago. Numerous attempts to get them to settle what they owe have been stonewalled. They are astonishingly adept in underhand stalling tactics.
UPDATE: After finding out who the Directors were, and addressing them directly to inform intended initiation of court proceedings the invoice was settled. I have now received a very unprofessional and threatening phone call from MCR Property group with regards to removing this review.... Read more
