Went to this place to put my house up for rent (when we actually have a housing crisis) I told them about my house which is near by and I was told an agent would get back to me. I waited a week and nothing, so I thought there must have been a mistake or something so I went back, again was told the agent would ring me later that afternoon. That was a week ago. Officially on 21 days of no hot water with 1 baby and 1 sen 4 year old. And it’s still only a “hopefully” be sorted today which I’ve heard on repeat for weeks now. What an absolute joke of an Estate agents. Rented a bed sit in Barnstaple riddled with Damp & Mould they couldn’t care less just wanted to paint over it which wouldn’t fix the issue at all. and expected me to pay nearly £400 pcm never again will I sent from these clowns. Very bad experience. I don’t leave negative reviews but I feel this place really deserves one. Only rated One star because the Manager + most staff were polite & the lady who dealt with us was lovely. But unfortunately the man I spoke to at the end of our tenancy was horrible and genuinely upset me. I also work in a customer service environment and would never be caught dead speaking to a customer with that attitude. Lived in a mouldy, damp, cold house whilst pregnant!! Despite many problems with this house they weren’t helpful because they didn’t really want to take responsibility for it. Ive rented before with a different estate agent and never had any trouble like I had with mid winter. Even knowing about our awful experience they still took a big chunk of our deposit for pathetic & petty reasons. We were made an example of because we are young and more inexperienced than others. In the end we wasted ALOT of money & went through ALOT of stress. Never again ????... Read more

Disgusting. Incompetent. Rude. These people failed to do the basic pre-tenancy inventory checks on the property I was letting. They also appeared to not do any checks on potential tenants. The people who they let in just didn't seem very sympatico to village life. They seemed like they might be better suited to London... They turned out fine, but they reported that the agents sent them angry letters telling them to always have heating on and windows open. The agent shouted at them saying "WE WOULD NEVER BE SO RUDE AS TO SHOUT AT ANYONE!!". One of the directors even started telling them about his divorce!!! When it got to the end of the tenancy, when the tenants could have had me over a barrel for the lack of inventory the old man from midkoval turned up late and sweaty and was outrageously rude, talking to the tenants like they were scum.
