Absolutely terrible service, a gentleman came to view the house (the manager of Naylors), he literally spent 5 minutes looking around and valued the house at £45,000 less than 4 of the other estate agents that valued the house. Really good initial impression from a gentleman that I spoke to in branch. But after my branch visit I rang up the next day , a lady answered, I was interested in another property they have coming on the market…now I’ll take my business elsewhere. I rang up asking for some more details on a property they had under offer in Arthingworth, I explained to her that I understood it was on flood land and had no planning which wasn’t mentioned on the advert so was just curious how they came to the price is was listed at she replied ‘well it’s not my problem anymore if it floods or doesn’t have planning it’s sold’ Knowing that’s how they treat their customers I will never be using them or recommending them to anyone.... Naylors Estate Agents were the Estate Agent for the property that we bought recently. Jane was excellent from start to finish. From initially showing us around the property, she left us to look around in our own time but was on hand when we had any questions. Jane's knowledge of the property and the seller's situation was amazing and really put us at ease when putting in an offer. Once the offer had been lodged and accepted, Jane was in regular contact and it felt like we were her clients as she was always on hand when we needed help with anything. She managed everyone's expectations brilliantly and didn't sit back and wait for the transaction to just happen. Jane was proactive and chased all parties every week to get it over the line. We rented a property from Naylors for three years and found the experience from start to finish to be professional and extremely helpful. From the moment we saw the place and registered our interest to the ad hoc maintenance enquiries we had during our tenancy, Naylors were always happy to help and were very quick at responding to queries. Maintenance and general enquiries were dealt with extremely quickly with us being kept informed at all times. We subsequently bought the same property and, again, Naylors were also extremely helpful and patient in assisting with this. I found Naylors not only professional but genuinely friendly. During such difficult times for us all I was tasked to find my Director a rental property whereby I found myself continually let down by several different Agents in Leicestershire. Until I had the pleasure of meeting Jane to view a property and thereafter Chelsea and I successfully found a lovely property for rental. Absolutely disgusted with this company. I had arranged a evaluation of my property, one of the two directors William Naylor attended . He was not wearing PPE, I asked him if he had a mask. He told me he did not and I then politely told William on this occasion I couldn’t allow him into my home.To this he responded “Fine!” And then proceeded to walk away without another word. Not even to offer to get a mask or reschedule the appointment . I felt this was not only incredibly rude but also irresponsible in the current climate of COVID-19. We are in the 4th month of a world wide pandemic, I felt it not a big ask for William to be wearing some sort of face covering? Not only to keep me and him safe, but also keep the people safe who’s houses he may of been visiting that day. I called to make a complaint and spoke with Liz Naylor. Who seemed to try and justify not protecting the staff and clients of Naylors- not that there is many considering there is only around 7 properties within Market Harborough for sale on their website. Liz’s attitude toward my feelings were that as a company they didn’t feel they had a responsibility to ensure people were kept safe and wouldn’t be taken any necessary steps to prevent the possible spread they could be causing. “ we cannot make people wear masks” “ it’s not law”. If a staff member refuses to wear a mask then they shouldn’t be sent out to people’s houses, it’s that simple. An evaluation is not a long process and it is not much of an inconvenience to wear a mask for the duration. You could be saving someone’s life, it’s that simple. Although that doesn’t matter to Liz as she told me she wasn’t bothered about the 45,000 who have contracted the virus and died. This company will not be selling my current high value property nor will they be selling any of my future properties. Disgusting.... Read more
