We had a very disapointing experience with this company. On the move in date the agent was late and had brought the wrong key to the flat meaning we had to stay out in the bad weather and take further time out of work than expected. - Once we entered the flat, the hallway and one of the bedrooms were flooded with wet floors/walls and skirting boards splitting due to a faulty roof. - When the agent checked the boiler he realised that it was not working. - There was mouldy fruit left behind in the kitchen for at least a month from when they were showing people around the flat. It was very evident that pre-move in checks had not been performed. When the agent noticed the boiler was not working he said that he needs to go back to the office, we heard nothing from him after that so we decided to contact him and his response was that it is not his problem and that we need to sort things out with the Landlord directly, usually I would expect it to be my responsibility contact the landlord throughout the tenancy but considering we hadn't be handed the keys over yet I would expect the agent to take some responsibility. North London Estates advertised and sold us a flat that was liveable in, the flat we arrived at was not and we had to find temporary accommodation (that we had to pay for) The agent's manner was highly unprofessional as he was constantly swearing, even asking us not to leave a review about our experience. We all have bad days and we really did want to understand the agents perspective but it was shocking how defensive and unhelpful he was.... Read more

I lived in a property managed by NLE for 2 years, and only left because I had a job offer in another city. I wouldn't typically review a property management company, but I have to say, my experience with NLE was in fact very good. I had to pay the standard fee for referencing, but once I was into the flat, every time I had contact with the company, it was painless. I think that many of the properties they manage are very close to the office, which makes it easy to have someone come by and look at things. I don't know whether all of the properties are owned by the same people, but in our case at least, periodic maintenance was carried out, thinks like re-caulking the (very new) bathtub and shower, cleaning the exterior windows, etc. When a faucet in the kitchen began to drip, we asked them to come change a washer in it, and instead they just replaced it with a new quality (I think Moen?) faucet. If I moved back to London I would definitely go right back to NLE before wasting time with some of the larger names or chasing fake ads on Rightmove. Edit: as others have said, Jacek is kind, professional, and quick, it was a pleasure to work with him.... Read more
