My experience with Park Lane Property Agents Bishops Stortford during my flat purchase left me feeling utterly disappointed and deceived. From the very beginning, they insisted that I could not use my own solicitors, claiming that the seller had already instructed a specific firm for the transaction. They strongly recommended that I opt for an alternative solicitor, which seemed suspicious at the time.
What made this situation all the more concerning was that, later in the process, I discovered that the seller had been using a different solicitor since June 2022 when they initially attempted to sell the property. This revelation completely contradicted the claim made by Park Lane Property Agents, and it became evident that I had been misled into choosing an alternate solicitor based on false information.
This deceitful act by Park Lane Property Agents significantly undermined my trust in their integrity and competence. Their willingness to misrepresent the seller's solicitor choice raises serious questions about their business ethics and professionalism.
Throughout the conveyancing process, I also experienced a lack of transparency and honesty. Despite my requests, Park Lane Property Agents failed to provide me with the Memorandum of Sale, which is a critical document outlining essential details of the property transaction. This omission left me feeling suspicious and concerned that they might be trying to hide certain aspects of the sale.
The discovery of their deceptive practices, coupled with the poor communication and lack of transparency, left me with no choice but to reassess my decision to proceed with the purchase. Regrettably, I had to withdraw from the transaction to protect my interests and avoid any further potential issues.
In conclusion, I strongly advise extreme caution when dealing with Park Lane Property Agents Bishops Stortford. The fact that they misled me about the seller's solicitor choice, only to be contradicted later in the process, reflects poorly on their credibility and reliability. If you value honesty, transparency, and a trustworthy property transaction, I urge you to steer clear of Park Lane Property Agents and seek out an estate agency that prioritizes ethical and forthright practices.

Park Lane Property Services are the Estate Agents to use should you require an efficient and totally profession service. Their advertising covered a wide area, so that the house information was seen by as many people as possible.
From the start to end of the process of selling our family home, I was regularly made aware of how things were going. No question was too small for them to deal with. Their personal touch throughout the selling process was exemplary and I did not find that I was treated as a number. Should any issues need to be sorted out, Amie and David were on the case to find out the required information or deal with the problem.

Should you want an Estate Agent, who will go the extra mile for you, then Park Lane Properties Agents to use. From the day, that David came to price my Mother's house, to the day of completion, I knew they were the ones to use.
David and Amie were so professional and supportive, in what was to be a long drawn out process. No question asked was to small for them to deal with. The personal touch, that David and Amie gave me, was exemplary, which made everything so much easier. I felt that I was given the personal touch and that I was not just a number.

Contrary to what we think of agents , Park Lane is very different. Easy to get hold of by phone and email. Helped negotiate a deal that allowed the sale to go through start to finish in 8-9 weeks. Mr David Worrell from Park Lane provided an outstanding service. Contrary to some of their competitors who tend to be more like sausage factories, we received a bespoke and friendly service. Mr Worrell and his team provide an accurate evaluation that reflected the current market and Park Lane unique clientele network. Nothing was ever an issue for them. With their prompt and clear communication, we manage to sell the property within a week at the requested price.

I cannot rate Park Lane highly enough. From start to finish they were professional, approachable and friendly. We got an offer on our house very quickly but unfortunately there were some issues with the onward chain for the house we wanted to purchase and this is really where Park Lane stepped up. Amie could not have been more helpful, always keeping us updated and if she said she was going to ring you...she did! Having viewed lots of properties whilst looking for our next purchase, I can also say Park Lane are excellent and stand apart from the others. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Intialy Proffesional service from David who valued my house and had very little contact heard from him afterwards, but when it came to actually selling my house after going on the market I have had little in the way of updates and a poor amount of viewers I had sold my property then it fell through and now feel it's like they have given up 3- 4 weeks after it fell through I still have the sold sign displayed outside instead of a for sale sign lack of advertising on zoopla one of the major sites and many other sites on the internet not covered by this estate agent.

We purchased our lovely home through Park Lane in 2020, To say the transaction went smoothly would be a lie, However this is where a good business shows how good it is when things start to go wrong.. I won’t bore you with all the details but I honestly believe if was not for Amie’s utter professionalism and tenacity in getting us through all the problems we faced we would have lost the house we were buying..
I could not recommend Amie at Park Lane enough and you are always welcome to pop in for a cuppa and a catch up with Clare and myself..

We was selling with another agent opposite Park Lane who We have had a terrible experience, rude! Don’t care! Just awful. Never in!

Untrustworthy liars that allow apprentices to deal with high value transactions.
Untrustworthy:
We had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Park Lane, a small, unprofessional estate agents that openly lie to those they deal with. Instead of explaining that it was them, not the seller, that didn't want us to meet the seller, Park Lane would come up with lie after lie that the seller was 'too emotional' or 'had a hospital appointment' etc. When we did eventually meet the seller (who provided honest answers to our questions about the property and the area) the seller was surprised to learn that Park Lane had prevented us from meeting as he had been happy to meet us all along so that a smooth sale could take place.
Unprofessional:
Park Lane did not pass on our messages to the seller. When we requested that Park Lane pass on enquiries, the Director of the company, David with whom we'd not had any previous dealings responded to our messages almost immediately (late at night), in very bad English and in a very rude, accusatory manner. Cleary, he was not performing his role as estate agent and passing on our messages to the seller. Instead, he took it upon himself to answer on the seller’s behalf and based on incorrect information (as he had little knowledge of our transaction). This caused us to lose confidence in the house purchase. We were trying to reach an exchange but David and his colleagues where not facilitating this. Instead they did not communicate to us why there were delays after delays (it took over 7 months for a straightforward transaction to complete.
Inexperienced:
Whilst we appreciate that apprentices need the opportunity to gain experience, there are circumstances when it might be helpful for an experienced estate agent to take the lead. We had requested a viewing of specific parts of the property, e.g. the garage, and had clearly mentioned this before making the trip from London to Bishop's Stortford to do the viewing. When we arrived the apprentice met us at the property and said we could not see the garage or other parts of the property (which we hadn't even requested to see in any case). The apprentice was very defensive and claimed that he didn't have the necessary insurance (due to being an apprentice) to show us all parts of the property. We found this incredibly frustrating as we had had our offer accepted on this house and needed to see not only what condition the house was in but also how much storage space there was so that we could plan the move.
I WOULD AVOID THIS COMPANY!
