horrible agency that discriminates against people on benefits/self employed. this culture of expecting a full grown adult to provide a guarantor is insane. I'm not a child. disgrace

Been with the agency (Fred and Emma) for more than 4 years
Never had any issues
Always easy to get hold of and if anything needed doing or fixing it was sorted .
I would highly recommend the agency!!!

Rented my flat with penine estates on a full management basis, things were fine initially until I started having trouble with the tenant being late with the rent every month. I felt like I was constantly chasing pennine to see why I hadn't received it, in the end I had to serve a section 21 notice. As soon as pennine realised there would be no more money in it for them Fred's demeanour changed he was arrogant, unhelpful and extremely unprofessional. I asked numerous times in writing for him to produce evidence that periodics checks had been done at the property and before and after photos had been taken of the property due to the state it had been left in. To date they have been unable to produce these or offer a valid explanation as to why. If you value your property do not trust them with it.

Fred is greedy person. He charged us double for replacing carpets. After few months mould appeared on the walls and he didn't do anything about it for three years. He has got spare keys and entered house during our absence.

Been in my property 4 weeks now fred has been great. The boiler was abit temprimentle and spoke to fred a couple of times about it and today had a brand new top of the range boiler fitted... cant fault pennine estates one bit

Very responsive property management with intimate knowledge of the local area. Fred and Emma look after the interests of landlords and tenants fairly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Wish we would have looked round more.
We rented a home for the first time with this company.
The company were our first contact and the handy people for the property so if we had any issues we would contact them.
We had problems with the toilet and was accused of putting sanitary towels down it, took the company 6 times and 6 floods to deal with the issue.
Had small issues in the house that needed fixing and was all botched by the estate agent so we had to make do.
Feel like because we were young we wasn’t taken seriously by the company.
Would strongly recommend looking around before jumping in to anything.
