We bought our house through this estate agents, and the estate agent we had on our case was very rude throughout the process. I don't know if it's because we were younger or that she doesn't enjoy her job much, but her attitude did not make buying our first house very enjoyable at all. When we initially had our first viewing we were alone so any questions we had were sent to her by email afterwards. I received an email back stating we needed to come in to receive the answers. When we arrived she stated over and over that she had sent us the answers on email and was quite rude about it until realising she hadn't sent the email at all. After having a home survey completed we phoned asking for a reduction in price and she stated we should not expect a reduction and that she didn't think it would happen, again quite rudely. She then phoned back and stated the sellers were happy for a reduction. On multiple occasions when phoning she was very rude but then was nice in person. On a couple of occasions she told me I needed to hurry our mortgage advisors up as they were taking too long despite telling her we were having an issue with equifax, which she replied with "who is equifax why do they need to do anything." She was quite rude and condescending whilst trying to arrange routine checks on the house. The house that we have now bought and own is still up for advertisement on the website. All in all she was very unsupportive throughout the whole process and I would not go back to this estate agents for any reason.... Read more

Possibly the worst estate agent I have ever had the displeasure of using. This estate agent has all the hallmarks of a bad 1980's estate agent. They appear to encorouge gazumping and have little to no communication. Initially we arranged a viewing on a property and had a telephone call confirming that our appointment had been accepted. When we turned up for the viewing, the vendor was unaware of any arrangement being made so it was a little awkward. The advert for the property was a copy and paste of a previous advert from several years ago so the photos did not reflect the actual condition of the house had an offer accepted on a property under the condition that it was marked as under offer. They did not mark the property as under offer despite our agreement, when we contacted them they did then mark the property as under offer for a number of days. They then removed the under offer notice without telling us and actively encorouged other people to view the property in an attempt to gazump us. We have only become aware that the property has now been marked as sold subject to contract by checking the internet. They have not even bothered to tell us that they have sold the property, despite our offer being accepted and assurances that if any other offers were made they would contact us to give us first refusal to change our offer etc. In short, if you are a buyer, avoid like the plauge! They appear to have no integrity and will be incredibly disingenuous in all dealings.... Read more

After trying multiple agents around the area that failed to reach a sale on my property, I decided to try Peters and co through a recomendation of a friend. They did not dissapoint, they are very polite and proffesional with excellent communication through out the process of the sale. I offered a good incentive and they found me a buyer within a week of them advertising my property which after trying several months with several agents this was a welcoming relief. Thank god we don't have this place selling our home . Very nice to you when they think they have a sale but look out when you ask a few rather important questions about the property you are thinking of buying. The staff became rude unhelpful and they were totally ignorant. Possibly as they didn't do there homework properly on the house that we had some very important questions about.
