A very poor service for both landlords and prospective tenants. This letting agent canceled my viewing and, despite my offer to pay rent upfront to secure the property, they failed to inform the landlord, prioritising their own interests over the landlord’s. I was scheduled for a viewing at 6 Cresswell Grove on Friday 20th September, only to have the estate agent arrive without the keys and cancel the viewing as he couldn’t get into the property. Other prospective tenants and myself were told verbally by the agent who attended that the viewing would be rearranged for Tuesday 24th September. However, later that day I received an email saying the viewing was scheduled for 10am Saturday (the next day). At such short notice I was unable to make the rescheduled viewing, meaning that I had driven down all the way from Glasgow and had my time wasted for nothing. To make things worse, I emailed the company on the Friday indicating I wouldn’t be able to make the viewing. I told them that if they honoured the viewing as arranged for Tuesday 24th, and I liked the property, I would be willing to pay a portion of the rent up front to make my application more appealing to the landlord. They did not relay this information to the landlord. A very poor service with a general lack of accountability for any mistakes that were made. Anyone who books viewings with this agent should make sure they don’t have their time and money wasted like I did.... Read more

Update: I got awarded this house & I’m now the sole legal owner of the property! I’m selling it via Bridgfords. ——————————————————————— They have rented my house, without permission ‘again’ via my stbx husband. Notified them, but they still rent it out.. despite me telling them, Mohammed ‘stole’ the monies for a year & failed to pay the mortgage.. £12.5k in arrears! Had my solicitors contact them but they failed to respond. I’ve evidence of above. Called them today again, to be told to contact a Solicitor! I did, they wrote to them. My name is on the deeds, I’m also the LEGAL owner! I emailed & rang, but seem to get an answer on here: to answer your comment. We are JOINT legal owners. My solicitors have contacted Mohammed, he’s representing himself, he has no solicitor & he failed to respond. He fails to attend or comply to court orders. I advised you & your team that the house was due to be repossessed due to Mohammed not paying the mortgage for 16 months. But you still rented the property to unsuspecting tenants who are caught up in these matters. Is that how you treat your clients. Shocking!... Read more

Slow ,uncooperative ,unorganised, unprofessional. We contacted Ryan Baker for the apartment viewing from India and they were nice and responsive till we finalised the apartment and completed our initial payment. From here on they wouldn't respond to our calls or mails ,at this point we were not even sure if the apartment would be let to us. After about 10 days they get back to us on a Friday evening that one document is required from our end and again stop responding as it was the weekend. After about 15days after making the payment and calling and mailing them repeatedly , we visited the apartment (we reached the UK by this time and note that we had to make arrangements for another accommodation).The apartment was filthy ,but had just been painted. they confirmed to us that the cleaning would be done. After this we followed up with them , and they assured us that the cleaning was done and had been checked by them. They responded to us very quickly with regard to any payment which we had to make, and again go back to being unresponsive. Finally they called us to collect the keys to the place and told us that the cleaning was done except for the kitchen and the cleaners would contact us and I will have to arrange a time with the cleaners(when in fact it is their responsibility to clean the entire place). Again we obliged and arranged for the time with the cleaners and when we visited the apartment it was the same condition as it was from the first visit. There was garbage, mold, mice feces and all sorts of rubbish in the apartment(which they claimed to have cleaned and checked). How was someone going to have to stay in an apartment with so many health hazards. Finally it was the Landlady and her relative who were kind enough to get the cleaning sorted for us. I would suggest everyone to think twice before considering them as your letting agents as they will make you pay immediately and just take advantage of you.... Read more

The in the flat boiler broke 7 days ago so the flat has no hot water or heating, the letting agent was made aware of this 6 days ago and we are yet to even be given a day when someone will be coming to fix it which leads me to believe absolutely nothing has been done about it and that nothing will ever be done about it, this is just complete incompetence on their part...
