Buying a house can be stressful. My journey with sears started in August when I made my offer and will complete on the 18th this month. Being in a big chain, brought some challenges emotionally. Colin, Daniel and especially Charlotte have empathise, help, support and even had broad shoulders when I was loosing faith in the process (I apologise for that). Charlotte was there all the way through the journey. When I was ready to walk out, Charlotte managed to say the right words and managed to negotiate with the chain a way to finally enable the exchange. I really didn’t think I was going to make it to the finishing line due to stress and financial impact but we did it and I’m super grateful for all the work Sears did. We went to view a property that Daniel showed us, but it wasn’t for us, in response to our enquiry. He said he’d let us know if anything more to our liking came up. Next week he called to say there was an opportunity to see something he’d just taken on and thought it would be perfect for us. Talk about ticking all the boxes! Daniel had listened to what we wanted, was able to see what was important to us and found us the perfect place for us. In our experience estate agents say they’ll keep you in mind but actually just send you loads of properties, just sending everything on their stock list, without filtering out ones they know you won’t like. Daniel made sure that he didn’t waste our time, we’re busy people, and only asked us to view what he knew was right for us. Great guy to do business with, who knows his area and takes time to know his buyers and vendors. 5 stars!

Really bad post-sale experience. Zero responses to emails, which means having to constantly chase on the phone - such a pain when busy with work and other things to have to try to pin down your EA constantly when all you want is a return email.
We’ve asked for months for a sense of the lead time for when our buyer might be able to complete, and never been given an answer. At every stage we’ve had to really push to get the smallest amount of information. Nothing is ever asked for proactively without us pushing it, even months into the process.
By comparison, our vendor’s EA is absolutely incredible and so responsive - we do everything via her now because she’s the only one that brings clarity, communicates (and responds to emails!) and gets us updates. We really trust her and we simply don’t have that relationship with Sears, even after raising a complaint after month one about how things were going.
Great at sales, but could not recommend at all due to the pain of the post sales experience. Feels like a total waste of money, especially when contrasting with our vendor’s EA.

Genuinely friendly and honest, Thomas and Daniel provided considered and expert advice on both property valuations and lettings without ever giving us the hard sell. Their knowledge of the area and customer base together with the strategic advantage of having offices in both the Jennetts Park area and Bracknell town centre helped convinced us to put our faith in the Sears team.
Sears also provided great customer service. Despite being innundated with enquiries, we have always found the Sears team to be responsive to issues and would get back to you to address your concerns if they couldn't do so immediately.
We hope to continue using Sears for years to come and would recommend them in a heart beat.

We were slightly apprehensive with some of the facebook reviews about the previous team that worked there but are so glad we went with our gut and made the decision to sell with them. We are first-time buyers and hands-down, Daniel R has been honest, helpful and reliable.
We initially looked at a property a few months ago with him where he knew everything we asked. This time around, still extremely knowledgeable and answering what we asked with no hesitation unlike other estate agents. After one didn’t work out, he immediately got us a viewing in another property which he thought would suit us. He had extensive knowledge on the properties we viewed and was friendly throughout. He is patient with us and when we asked to view this recent property was more than willing to get us in and show us in a quick time frame. He’s not been pushy at all but making sure we knew all the options. Gave us realistic expectations and managed our experience by telling us everything then letting us view the property on our own then checking back in. He has been fantastic. The branch manager was also excellent, Thomas was at the branch allowing us to discuss our offer and making us aware of the situation that we are heading into.
Overall, we are having a brilliant experience with Sears and Daniel R in particular. We are hoping to be able to buy our first house with them.
Would highly recommend them as estate agents, especially for first-time buyers.

I have mainly been dealing with Daniel at Sears and I can hand on heart say he has blown us away. I have been property hunting for months and came across sears property on Zoopla. I have had Martin Hembra assist me in my property search and he honestly could not have made it any easier for me. Martin is always efficient and responds to emails very quickly on each viewing he also had all information to hand, I have found other estate agent firms not being able to give me lease years and charges on the spot but Martin has always been extremely organised for each viewing, moreover he knew of my requirements so ensured that he arranged viewings for properties in a row for me so that I was able to save time and not have to go back and forth. Extremely efficient and great service, highly recommended.
