We had been on the market with Sears for 6 months before we decided to take it off temporarily to give it a break after not getting any bites. Fast forward 2 years into our “break” (the post covid flat market wasn’t great!) we got an out of the blue call from Rob who said he thought he had us a buyer. Two viewings later, within a week we were sold! As you can imagine, we were not prepared at all to move as we hadn’t been looking at all but the whole team at Sears couldn’t have been more helpful in sending us potential properties etc. Our sale took a very long time due to legal delays and Gabriella who managed our sale (and even purchase even though we bought through another agent!) made an incredibly stressful situation feel like a breeze with stepping in with solicitors, speeding up the transaction etc. nothing was ever too much trouble for her and I can honestly say she has restored my faith in estate agents and I would never choose any other agent to sell my property with in the future. Not only is she incredibly professional and proficient in her role, she is also kind, caring and personable - going above and beyond at all times. If you’re selling your property, do not hesitate to use Sears - they knew our property needed a specific type of buyer and even without being on the market for 2 years, they found them. Selling your property is only part of the process and probably the easiest; getting to completion without the chain collapsing and your sanity is the hard part - with Gabriella at their helm, you are in safe hands. What a breath of fresh air! Estate agents who put service before profit and truly promote their stated policies of transparency and managing their clients’ expectations. Oliver Hewitt, manager of the Wokingham Branch of Sears visited the property I was assisting my elderly friend to put on the market the day of my phone call; took time to go through the procedure and the paperwork and returned to take photographs the next morning. The property was on the market the same afternoon, a potential buyer introduced the following day and a sale ( and purchase) subject to contract sewn up within the week. I dealt with 2 other colleagues who were equally professional ( James and Tim) and Hannah is now progressing the transactions. Great Team work, great communication throughout and a very happy customer. I have lived in Wokingham for over 40 years and will definitely be recommending Sears to family and friends. My wife and I decided to move house back in June 2021, contacting 3 local agents including Sears Wokingham. Oliver Hewitt came to do the valuation, he put us at ease straight away and we felt that Sears were a different kind of Estate Agent. We liked the idea of using a full-service company new to Wokingham, who were hungry to build a reputation. It obviously worked as we had immediate viewings and an offer of £20K above asking coming within days of the listing.
Once we accepted the offer, Hannah Wood, who had only recently joined in the role of Client Manager, was invaluable. She acted as liaison between us, the buyer and the conveyencer, keeping us informed throughout, right up to exchange and finally completion.
The whole process went largely without a single preventable hitch and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sears to potential sellers and buyers alike.

A great place to start your house buying journey! We have had many viewings with many agents but the level of customer service and efficiency was outstanding compared. Sears are very professional and outcome oriented. They know their customers' requirements very well which is the most important thing when recommending homes to Buyers and pricing strategy or changes to Sellers. We were on the market for sometime with no success with other agents and then we got Sears on board, they got results within a short period. We got sound advice and regular constructive feedback from them post viewings. A special mention to Tim Halls who was very courteous, proactive and professional in his approach. I was extremely happy with how professional the photos looked, and how well advertised my property was. James dealt with my viewings, and kept me up to date after each one so I was in the loop, which I really appreciated.

Really impressed with everyone we engaged with at Sears and cannot recommend highly enough. We had had our property on with another larger agency in Wokingham for over 6 months with limited viewings, poor communication and a general lack of interest in trying to sell our property. .
We were referred to Sears who immediately got to know us, our property understood the kind of seller we required to buy a flat. It was clearly not a numbers game.
Within 3 days they had secured two viewings with an offer coming immediately. They negotiated well for us and took a lot of the house selling stress off of me and my wife.

As a renter it is somewhat difficult to access great services when moving. Our property was being sold by our landlord and we were a bit concerned about what was happening as it was with a different agency.

Selling and moving house can be very stressful and exhausting process
I would like to say thanks to the Sears team for taking out a lot of burden and making this a smoother process.
We were impressed when we went to view some houses in Bracknell with Sears, so we decided to contact them to see if they could sell our place.
They have delivered on their promises.
Sears sold our place in a timely manner with the asking price.
They managed to get allot of people to view our property, but also the right people.
We also received valuable feedback.
Sears have really gone out of their way.
They are new to Wokingham but really know the area. They attract people to view that will benefit from the property and see value in the area and property.
We found them very approachable and honest.
They know how to answer tricky questions intelligently and in honest manner.

My property had been on the market since October 2020. I was getting plenty of viewings but no offers. On Easter Saturday I opened the door to see Tim from Sears standing there. He introduced himself and asked for Sears to market my house. My husband did not see the point as it was on property websites and we still had people viewing. I have been so impressed with the truly outstanding service I have received from the team in the Wokingham branch of Sears. I am really blown away by how fantastically proactive and supportive they have been. We only had our house on the market a week and this is the first time we are selling so we were somewhat nervous about the process but I have 100% confidence in the very experienced team who clearly are passionate about getting the best for us. Oliver Hewitt and team at Sears did a great job in selling a property for me and it wasn’t an easy sale. Their motivation never faltered even as chains collapsed multiple times through no fault of their own. Having never had a good experience previously with an estate agent I was relieved to have chosen them. Not knowing the area well it was a bit of a gamble to select an agent but I’m happy I did go with them. We were in a chain 7 weeks into a sale and purchase when our buyer withdrew their offer - it was a devastating situation as we had found our dream home. I had been working with Sears for the purchase of our dream home and Oliver Hewitt was the first to call to see if they can help.
