Been waiting 2 weeks for a property for my grandparents, they have alot of money and where urgently looking for a long term place to stay, we found a property to let and inquired 2 weeks prior, we got no communication no emails nothing, in the end the landlay had communicated with the agents telling the agents that, she accepter a different offer. our offer was the full price plus deposit and 3-5 years worth of rent prepayed even if neccesary. the agent asked very strange questions as to why my grandparents need a 3 bedroom house, to which i simply said they require more space and their own space/ not shared with any other people and at ground level, almost insinuating because of my appearance that we are to do something dodgy, disgusting behaviour, poor communication and has wasted my families time as well as my own time and money, with my grandfather being sick this makes me very upset. do not approach these agents, very unproffesional and im not suprised by the many 1 star reviews. to the agent that dealt with me i hope you read this .... First time renting through Sellers and the LAST for sure!Be careful with the details of the contract before signing it as they don't tell you all the details and also pay attention to their properties as you don't notice the problems they have at first and discover them after moving there and you have to stay one year there against your will as the 6months break clause is only available to the landlord and not the tenant,they seem to care more about the landlord. If you have problems, the manager doesn't even let you speak,he is arrogant and makes you feel inferior to him.He seems nice at first but after signing the contract he stops being nice.He thinks, from my experience that he is always right and you have to do things his way.Be careful with the inventory as well,take photos from the very first day when you move in and if you notice something wrong which is not in the inventory send a photo to them on the first day,otherwise you will be blamed for the damage.Very unpleasant experience!!!... I was a tenant for a few years in a property managed by Sellers Estates. When moving house at the end of my tenancy, I had a bad experience dealing with the management. In terms of conflicts with the landlord, I feel the Sellers Estates management did not support me and always took the side of the landlord. They were quite slow to move things ahead and I had to invest a lot of time, energy and money to move house which could have all been avoided had Sellers Estates been more proactive, customer friendly and better managed...
