I will never deal with this estate again, When I spoke to Jules the director / Owner she was dismissive and choose to ignore the issue. UNPROFESSIONAL and PRETENTIOUS and RUDE!! I’ve sold houses a few times in the past and used a few local estate agents of which the service was OK and what I thought ‘expected’. The difference with Solo is that they tailor the service, get to understand you / your situation and apply all that to give a unbelievably great experience. Recently we started to rent in Ripon to ensure that we were in the centre of our house 'search area'. We have visited and registered with over 20 estate agents in the Ripon, Harrogate, Thirsk and Boroughbridge area and SOLO Estate Agents are the only company who have had any interest in or slightest interaction to our needs.
My personal advice is speak to SOLO, I cannot praise them highly enough. They will listen to you, will advise you and will genuinely try to help you with your needs.
When compared to SOLO it is surprising that many of the area's agents have any business at all!

easily the worst experience I've ever had and I've dealt with more than my share of estate agents. I had comments not only made about me and my partner, but other residents in the building and other people who had viewed the property. I also had sarcastic comments made to me after me and my partner weren't interested in a property and my calls were ignored as the agents decided they just didn't want to talk to me even though I had proven I was more than financially equipped to go ahead with the properties I was enquiring after. I was spoken to extremely rudely, both over the phone and in person, was patronised and the agent was extremely unhelpful, unwelcoming and unprofessional. I would not recommend this agents to anyone.

It was tempting to go for a cheaper or bigger estate agent but ...the quality of service & attention to detail (and always with a smile) makes Solo the perfect choice. I’m so glad I went with them. They are just what you need to ‘hold your hand’ through the daunting task of selling & buying a home.
There is no sense of ‘replies between 9-5’ - matters are dealt with swiftly whether it’s in an evening or weekend ...which is helpful when you are at work during normal business hours.

Every person that works for Solo was always making sure everything was constantly getting completed correctly and in a timely manner.
I found myself on a number off occasions speaking to Jane Simpson for advice rather than my own Solicitor as I would always get a propt response and felt everything was sincere.

Recently moved into the area and rented a house through SOLO.
Everyone we spoke to , and especially Julie who dealt with it for us, have made it an easy and painless experience.
Moving house is stressful at the best of times but trying to do it with the extra restrictions would have been much more difficult without Julie and her professional and practical approach to all the changes.
We will definitely use you again.

I'd happily recommend Solo. They recently helped me to sell my house. My 5.5 reasons why I was happy with them are;
1 I wanted to avoid internet only agencies with the risk of online scams.
2 Resilience, I looked for an excellent team.
3 Reliability, I wanted a focused service without distractions or side hustles where the agent is difficult to contact.
4 Trust, they took care of the sales process brilliantly.
5 Details count, they produced an excellent brochure and published the details on Rightmove.
5.5 Communication, it was easy to contact the team in the tumultuous times of lockdown.
I give Solo a Grade A for trust and merit. For performance, I give them a Grade B.
