A very positive experience. Nick and the team seem very trustworthy and responsive, very different to the stereotypical estate agents we are all warned about. He warned me upfront about the shortcomings in the flat, which were reflected in the price. When the shower failed, it was inspected and replaced in 24h. When I discovered issues caused by a hidden water leak, he responded quickly and flexibly. 5 stars.

My experience with Stamford Agency was outstanding, all the staff was very professional...........except when dealing with Nick was a nightmare, as he was very very rude, he always seems angry when he answered the phone, and hangs the phone when i did not even finish asking him my query. But with the help of Jas we managed to buy a house from them this year, and the service of Jas was remarkable. Jas was the person I dealt with, and he helped me along the process, giving me information and making this a lot easier for me since it was my first time buying a property. From the start to finish, Jas was incredibly communicative, always keeping us in the loop and ensuring we understood each step. I recently purchased a property with the help of Stamford Agency. Jas and the team were absolutely fantastic (except Nick). Nick was always very rude on the phone, not sure why? He was not ready to listen to what the client wants to ask, he would just hangup the phone in the middle of the conversation with a rude voice. He does not even pass on the messages, had a very very bad experience with him as he really does not have any customer communication skills. Rest of the team were really very good and had lots of patience, and listened to what we were trying to ask, they supported us throughout the purchase. I don’t think things would have gone so smoothly if it hadn’t been for the exceptional management team "Specially Jas". I highly recommend Stamford if you are thinking of buying a property! Lost one star because of Nick. And would like to wish Nick to "GET WELL SOON".

If I could put 0 I would, but unfortunately is not possible. I do not recommend this agency at all, especially if you’re pregnant, be prepared for discrimination. Extreme unprofessional people, they will tell you multiple times that they will call you back to let you know about the properties you enquire for, without doing so or finding excuses to cancel viewings. I wanted to speak with their manager and expecting a call back to understand what was going on and magically a property has become available from straight away for me to view from the lady that was dealing with me. No call from the management and lots of unprofessionalism and discrimination. I wonder if the manager even knows about what’s going on in there. Do not trust them at all please do yourself a favour. Policies and procedures of this agency definitely need a review on how to deal with costumers in protected categories.

My parents in law had a large dated rental that Stamfords had sold but fell through and then they remarketed just as interest rates started going up. They advised on a particular sales strategy which we were skeptical about. They explained it and it delivered, we exchanged contracts and everything flowed easily as we had all the legals from before. Completed last month. I have used Stamford's on other occasions with regards to divesting property. We sold my parents home this time, and again, set a target figure for Jas and team to achieve, and just as before we had offers at that price and higher. Whoever you deal with at this agency be certain on you will get sound advice in line with current market trends whether you are buying, selling or renting. They even put me in touch with builders to refurb my own current home, and that too was a really good experience (I am still in touch with the builder - let me plug for Mario the one with the Golden Hand!!!). I would not hesitate to go back to them again, nothing beats a trusted London agency, and how often do you hear of a honest Estate Agents, you have now.

I have messaged this estate agent numerous times via email, phone, on their own website. During my phone call I was told someone would get back to me and no ever did. Although I have been aware of the local branch in Hounslow for over a decade it was not until making the recent decision to sell my Tenanted property that I came to use one of the best. Having become an unwilling landlord due two of their competitors not being able to sell the property a decade ago; I then fell victim to a dubious letting agents who have since ceased trading, my next lettings agent was taken over by what I would describe as a ‘Premium London Brand’ who certainly only know how to charge, which in my experience was the limit of their expertise. That experience led me back to initially Nick, then Jas at Stamfords, whose local knowledge, skill, experience, relationship building capabilities, partnerships with Solicitors, and sheer perseverance resulted in the sale of my property. Despite all parties probably considering it a challenging sale, in many cases caused by my lettings agents, I was kept informed at all stages and had to do very little and have to confess if not for Jas it would not have completed. What’s more this is the only time I have ever felt that I have underpaid an estate agents, despite having used the cheapest National online only agents for another property on a previous occasion. Please do yourself a favour and trust in Stamfords to deliver, whether you wish to let, rent, sell, or buy, I’d recommend them!

The person dealing with the property was out of the office, so left name and number with the agents, who said she would get back to me. No one ever got back to me, not even to say property is Sold STC, etc. Poor service.

A long winded sale due to the need to obtain probate, that ended with a lot of tension when after five months, the buyer delayed exchange until four days before the date we had agreed to complete, then sending a surveyor after previously saying they would not. With it looking likely that the buyer was positioning themselves for last minute re negotiation, Stamfords helped maintain control by mediating and ensured that the sale went through. Recommended.

VERY HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE WITH THE LETTING AGENT
Called up Adrian to tell him that i have been harrassed by the sub- letted owner ,at 350/A Bath Road Hounslow west but Instead he calls the Tenant who does'nt even stay in the house but is Living in Swindon that somebody has complained from the said HOUSE i told him that the sub-letted tenant is shutting down the gas ,no hot water ,room infested with bed bugs, etc
I told him straight away that this is happening due to overcrowding of the house where in 2 bed flat maximum occupancy was 4 to 5 PERSONS
there were 7 persons living ( when they verify at stamfords they say that it is strictly for couples) but in this case the lounge was converted into a room and extra people staying in it
when i asked him that i want justice for the inconvenience caused he straight away said i was not on the tenancy agreement and i can't take any action (and i have to search for a new place )but even though the other occupants were also not on the tenancy agreement how can they be in that house ?
THE GUY WHO IS ON THE TENANCY AGREEMENT IS STAYING AT SWINDON AND HE HAS SUB LETTED TO SOMEBODY WHO IS NOT ON THE AGREEMENT
IS THIS A BREACH OF AGREEMENT ?????????????????
So finally one day Adrian came to have a look at the flat at 350/a WITH HIS CAMERA but may be he called the occupants that he is coming on a said day
the occupants quickly converted one box room to store room to bluff him as if there are only 5 people staying in the property but next day they again quickly converted that room
I really felt let down by Adrian coz after telling him the irregulaties he did not bother to take any action
Moral of the story
TAKE A PROPERTY FROM STAMFORD'S AND YOU WILL BE LUCKY TO KEEP MORE OCCUPANTS AS NOBODY IS BOTHERED TO CHECK WHAT IS GOING ON
JUST BE HAND IN HAND WITH THE LETTING AGENTS AND IT'S A SMOOTH SAILING

After being messed around by estate agents in Hounslow and 3 failed attempts to selI my flat we had lost faith. Then we came across Stamford’s.

Adrian and the team are always very helpful, courteous and efficient. They are fair-minded to both tenant and landlord. Whenever there has been a maintenance issue requiring action they have been prompt to address it. They have given different options to the landlord, myself, where possible in order to save unnecessary expense. They go the extra mile.
Recently there was an urgent boiler issue and Adrian tried to contact me several times by phone and email (I was temporarily unavailable). He had to make a decision in my absence but managed to make alternative arrangements at the last moment when I finally was able to speak to him and give him a third alternative which I preferred. This required significant admin on his part and he was liasing with a specialist boiler engineer late on a Friday evening. The net result was that the boiler was repaired on the same day (great news for the tenant), out of hours in fact, and I saved over a hundred pounds. Thank you very much!

My partner and I engaged Stamfords to manage a property for us in 2014. To this point, the service they have provided has been exemplary. Adrian, who manages the contract, has clearly worked hard to establish good relationships with the tenants and the communication in respect of any property related issues has never been less than good. In fact, the agents have provided a very personal service and I would recommend them to friends or family.

I just wanted to make a comment because I've read a couple of reviews below that obviously have come from people who weren't customers of this business. Looks to me like a rival company writing those poor reviews on purpose.
I've used Stamfords in the past for when I moved and bought a new house. They were excellent from start to finish. They really care about customer service and making life as easy as possible for you. Really happy with how they were and their efficiency. Thanks again and for anyone else thinking of using them – ignore these silly comments which blatantly come from a competitor.

they said no to all rhe homes I asked for and they said that I was able to get the house just because we applyed for dss. its so annoying that they dont allow us to get a house just cuz we get dss-like seriously they need to trust us.
And could u beleive it they dont even give u a chance to speak they just hung up on me.Im so sad I wish we could just get a house to rent and not be told "no dss" just for 1nce

I was very dissapointed. I had sent out an email to basically all the estate agents via zoopla as me and my group of friends are looking for a house share together. A women called me from this agency and told me that I need to rethink who I want to move in with because a lot of landloards don't have some sort of license for renting a house to more then 3 unrelated people, and that me having a cat is going to be a problem aswell. So instead of solving my problems, she gave me more problems. You're an agency, for Gods sake, you're supposed to help and not tell me that I will have difficulties finding a house and hang up.

unbelievable rude, I called for information and the "lady" on the phone was extremely rude and useless. apparently to live in a 4 bed house you need to be less than 4 people and be blood related in first grade....I guess they don charge for excellent customer service.
