Recently sold my flat in South Croydon - advertised via many of the local providers - Streets Ahead, Haart, Choices, Barnard Marcus.
Streets Ahead were excellent - got dozens of viewers in, always checked times in advance and were there to host all viewings. They found two buyers - one fell through and the other purchased the flat.
Choices were okay - nice people, found a few viewers. The absolute worst are Barnard Marcus - they almost sabotaged my sale by calling my buyer and telling him I was still looking to find a buyer for my flat, a month after I instructed them to take it off the market. They often don't turn up to viewings, and harass buyers with poor customer service. AVOID.
Go for Streets Ahead - definitely the best agents in South Croydon.

I went to Streets Ahead around midday on Saturday. The lights were on, the door said that they were open but nobody visible from outside and no doorbell. I tried calling on the phone but no response and the call was not diverted to a main branch.

I don’t really write reviews but unfortunately we have experienced the worst in one of their sales people. He was very rude and arrogant. Had our property valued by this agent but went with another agent in the end. So he called us late night and discouraged us about choosing the other agent and then said with a very arrogant tone of voice that hey don’t need our property anyway. Very unprofessional.

There are so many great points I could say about my experience with Streets Ahead. My agent Ray - was amazing and really exceeded my customer experience. He tailored my viewings, and didn’t give unrealistic expectations. All in all I now have a fantastic apartment - I’d give 10/10, two thumbs up, and 5 stars ???? Excellent.

I found that the agent (Stephanie) who assisted me was very helpful, she regularly contacted me when she felt appropriate properties came on the market. Her customer service was very good I felt that I was being taken seriously. If a suitable property came on the market I am sure I would have been contacted.

Robert Owen is now my property manager for my rental flat. I have had several before him with disappointing management skills and ability to resolve problems and issues that have arisen. Rob is of a different caliber and an asset to the company . Any problems or queries I have had with my property or rental income Rob has dealt with in a swift manner, resolving any problems and taking the time to explain anything I did not understand.
I was thinking of changing the rental agency I used as I did not think I was getting the service I was paying for. No longer the case as Rob seems to be a real professional who gets things done.
I would recommend this agency to others now based on the service I am receiving.

The worst nightmare of my life!
My experience so far with Streets ahead agency i do not wish it for my enemy. I recently rented a property from this agency for which on getting there there are many things faulty in the house, including toilet and oven and thorn carpet covered up with different colour different to the rest of the house. They kept insisting most of my complaint is cosmetics and that i agreed to take the house as seen,even though there was a present occupant at the house as at the time i viewed which makes what can be seen limited. it has taken the agency a whole week to fix only the toilet of which i have no access the whole week and they are insisting my money is still counting. everyone that appeared nice as at the time of house hunt/viewing have suddenly turn deaf ears and would not even reply or return my emails/calls.
There approach if you ever have any issue to address is so unrofessional and they can be politely very rude to you giving unsafe and unprofessional advice.
Once they have your money they dont care about you as a tenant or rendering good service. There seem to be a very bad culture of which some of the staff have built there attitude on.
I will definitely not recommend. I am just starting with them and i am already stressed to the climax. I wish I never started with them in thefirst place.

After an expected move myself and a friend took to the net looking for potential flats. Alas we found one but upon calling to view the flat had discovered it was no longer available. Jordan asked a few questions about what we were after and was able to suggest quite quickly an alternative property. My friend went to view the flat and sent me the video, IT WAS PERFECT! Another agent Myles assisted with all the finer details and the two of them worked simultaneously to secure the deal of this property. They both thought out of the box and tailored to our every need whilst dealing with a difficult personal matter of mine with such professionalism and grace. They both exude customer service at the highest level and can be trusted to deal with a period of time that can be usually quite stressful with the upmost care. I wish I would give 6/5 because they truly went above and beyond. You both will never really understand what you’ve done for us. Thanking you both so much. I rang several estate agents to enquire about properties who bluntly told me ‘sorry it’s gone’ and then hung up. Streets Ahead were the only ones who were customer focused enough to have a chat with me about what I was looking for and arrange some alternative viewings.
When we put an offer on the flat, Myles kept in regular contact letting us know when we could expect to hear. I was really impressed that he called us after office hours to confirm our offer had been accepted and stayed late to deal with our paperwork. Myles and Zeenat were professional, friendly and always on hand to answer questions.

Used Streets Ahead recently to try and find a place to rent. I was contacted by a guy called Jakub who did a great job keeping me up to date with potential viewings, he arranged everything and was very flexible with rearranging and cancellations and quick to respond. I didn't go for a property managed by Streets Ahead but honestly I was so impressed with the customer service I thought I'd leave a review anyway. The sales team who showed me around the properties were also nice and friendly, none of them were too pushy which was appreciated and they all seemed very genuine.

Very Unprofessional Agency, Loosing time. Very unorganised and disrespectful.
They booked 20 other people at the same viewing time as me for vewing the property, and after waiting for her all of this time, we have been told that they do not have the key and the tenant is not in.
Horrible experience!
I never recommend it for anybody!

We exchanged on our property yesterday and just wanted to say how pleased we have been with Streets Ahead. Sam & Gemma @ the Purley branch were fantastic getting our house under offer quickly and since then the level of service has continued to be fantastic. Robyne Bonar in particular was wonderful and worked tirelessly to get us to the point of exchange. She liaised between solicitors and the buyer, going above and beyond to get things pushed through so we could exchange ASAP. She kept on top of everything and was always available for questions (or a rant). Honestly, moving house is so stressful and we are so thankful for everything Robyne, Gemma and Sam have done.

Moving house can be pretty stressful, but when your sitting in a different country and trying to arrange viewings for when you arrive, that seemed almost impossible with the other agents i had spoken with, untill I came across Streets Ahead. Not even one star. Street ahead sell very well, then tell you to review them 5 stars straight after that. however, when you have problems like we have for the past near 6 months, they cannot help you. We have been without keys and important maintenance now for 6 months which has been anything but a positive experience. The property management team appear to be lazy as they don't actually do anything to help and sometimes even ignore emails and don't call back. Never use Streets ahead is my recommendation.

Michelle Whittle went above and beyond in her customer service than any other estate agent in Croydon.
She is an absolute pleasure to deal with and knows her job and the Croydon market very well.
Extremely impressed and a as a manager for streets ahead a great asset to them .

I locked myself out today and after numerous vain attempts to ring my landlady and my partner Serhat kindly came down to our flat and managed to open the back door! He actually stood on a plastic chair and then did a pull-up and crept through the top flap of the back door. I could not believe it! He is a professional fighter which gives him the ability to do things of that kind. Needless to say I am extremely grateful!

Streets Ahead have been dealing with the sale of my property in Croydon and the entire team have been absolutely fantastic and motivated in supporting me to sell my flat.
From marketing my property to setting up open days and encouraging prospective buyers to come and view the property, they have been absolutely brilliant.
In particular, one team member has absolutely been a star and that has been Saphire, who is part of the sales progressor team. She has shown such commitment in managing the sale of my property during a difficult patch (through no fault of Streets Ahead) and has gone above and beyond her call of duty. Incredibly professional and a lovely girl. Streets Ahead is very lucky to have her as part of their team.

Do not ever use them. On surface great but we did their job for them. Terrible from start to finish. We paid for them to obtain references and collect our rent. References were incorrect and i had to check them and i had to chase our late rent every month. We received our deposit at the end immediately, before the inventory was completed, which was strange as it should have been in a holding account, which requires notice and we were told the inventory had been done, it hadn't and the agent came unauthorized when were in the property!!!

Although they found me tenants straight away, the service afterwards is very poor, they never return your calls, never answer your queries, as long as the money is being paid, that is all what they are interested in, you just don't exist!
