I would definitely recommend. Joe Olang was super helpful, he had great knowledge of the area, near by parks, route to the station, etc. Efficient and effective service, the communication was great! We were kept well informed throughout our apartment search journey, he really helped us find the perfect place. Great attitudes all round, thank you Joe!

Just completed on a flat in Croydon, all very smooth. Thanks to Jed Peerless who showed us around various properties, swiftly provided answers to all of our questions and when we decided what we wanted facilitated the bidding and arrangements for solicitors, lawyers, etc. Would highly recommend his handling of the entire process.

We recently rented a property with Barnard Marcus, which we are greatly impressed with. Zuzanna and Jordan were both wonderful agents who helped us every step of the way! They were completely understanding when we made small errors on the reference forms and helped me correct this with ease. They were just fantastic, had plenty of time for me and truly made a moving process that is usually a nightmare, something to look forward to. Thank you so much Zuzanna and Jordan!

Recently sold my flat in South Croydon - advertised via many of the local providers - Streets Ahead, Haart, Choices, Barnard Marcus.
Avoid Barnard Marcus at all costs - they got no viewers, and they almost sabotaged my sale through Streets Ahead by calling my buyer and telling him I was still looking to find a buyer for my flat, over a month after I instructed them to take it off the market. When we were viewing other properties to buy, we found Barnard Marcus often don't turn up to viewings, and harass buyers with poor customer service. AVOID!!!
Go for Streets Ahead instead - they were excellent, got dozens of viewers in, always checked times in advance and were there to host all viewings. They found two buyers - one fell through and the other purchased the flat.

The offer process was dealt with quickly by Mason Gates however after that we didn't receive the best customer service. Mason left the agency half way through our purchase but we received no communication to let us know that was happening and who would be our new point of contact. Several emails were sent to Mason without reply (assuming this is because he was on his notice period) and then we only found out he left when sending another chaser and getting an out of office saying he had left the company. Our purchase was then picked up by Matthew Nobbs however whilst he would reply to some emails, sadly some emails were ignored. Generally when Barnard Marcus needed information from their side they would be quick to chase, however when we needed information from them we would have to send several chasers. In the end we only received one day's notice of the exchange date which was not ideal. Overall the purchase went through so we were happy with that but it likely could have been quicker if there was better communication from Barnard Marcus.

Mathew from Barnard Marcus was cooperative and kept us informed through out the probate process. Arranged access to the property multiple times which made us believe that the property is right for our needs. Communication is key for any transaction let alone once in a life time purchase of family home. Quite happy over all - Mr and Mrs Salluri

This branch has poor communication skills and they don't take pride in customer service.
The only time they are kissing up to you is the minute you are putting down a deposit so they can get commision or some kind of bonus i bet.
First off Jordan is so unprofessional its a joke. The landlord decided not to rent to me and my husband and when we requested our holding deposit back. Jordan told us it was being processed but we did not receive it for another month with much ringing and emailing the branch.
Seriously do not work with this branch to rent a home because they seem like they do not have the customers best interest at heart.
I feel like they will lie about property information to gain a financial advantage for themselves.
Really upset with this experience.

Use this estate agent at your peril for renting. They took my deposit of £260 and refused to give it back stating I lied about my salary on my application form.. When I asked for proof of this as it was not true they refused to show me my application form which would prove I did not give them false information. I took them to the County Court and they were issued with a CCJ. Only then did they return my deposit. This cost £35 to do and I got this back as costs. They had to pay me as they knew they had no proof. Please be aware.

Imagine being booked in for a viewing by Joey Olang and then when you get there no one picks up your calls, you call the office and no one picks up. Absolutely disgusting. made me waste money to travel to this house and not even show up or bother to communicate...I wouldnt recommend, and if u do DONT go with someone like Joey before you waste your money and not even see the place. wasteful agent

I dealt with Matthew, Saskia and Mason. All very professional and punctual. I dont think I had to wait for any of them to arrive at any of my views. Matthew was very good even when my wife and I were rather stressed with the whole situation. Our welcome back was appreciated greatly. I would recommend very highly. Thanks guys.

Agent on inspection of the flat told us the flat is in very good condition and next people can move in straightaway. No damages from our side , we did maintain flat in good condition. After we moved out of the country and the flat they said they claiming damages and we wouldn't get our deposit back . Be careful people or you will get robbed of your hard earned money .
