Extremely Disappointing Property Management
Street Ahead claims to have 30+ years of experience, but their property management service is terrible. We reported a malfunctioning dishwasher on 30th May, and it's been almost four months with no action. Despite numerous follow-ups, all we receive are automated emails asking if the issue has been resolved, but no one has been sent to inspect or repair it.
It's frustrating, and their property management team seems non-existent. Avoid them if you expect professional service or timely repairs!

I had a terrible experience with this estate agency. I paid a holding deposit of around £500 to rent a property, but even after 4 days, they were unable to complete my referencing. When I called to inform them that I no longer wanted to proceed, the lettings manager became furious and was extremely rude and unprofessional over the phone. The treatment was so bad that I ended up telling them to keep the deposit and just let me go. On the same day, I paid a holding deposit to another lettings agency, and they completed everything in just 2 days. I do not recommend this agency at all!

Kadeem was personable and very helpful throughout my purchase. He kept me updated with info my solicitors were slow to forward, and always let me know what would be happening next. The whole purchasing process is stressful as everything happens at a snail’s pace, however, Kadeem calmed my anxiety by answering my concerns and always responded to any queries I had.
Jola & Kadeem were efficient and communicative throughout my purchase.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kadeem and his colleagues to anyone on the lookout for a professional team of estate agents.

Streets Ahead Crystal Palace were fantastic when we originally began our tenancy in April 2023, the communication was smooth and they negotiated with the landlord on our behalf.
However, after a year of our tenancy the landlord put the flat on the market through Streets Ahead, during this time we tried to be as accommodating as possible but found the agents at the office to be extremely unprofessional in their communication regarding viewings, often telling us on the day that viewings had been arranged last minute. On one particular occasion we spent a whole day preparing the flat and left it empty for the agents to host an open house on their request, however only one viewing was arranged and they were back to asking us last minute the next day.
Furthermore, when our tenancy (which was managed by the landlord) ended, we confirmed directly with him that he would be instructing Streets Ahead to release our full deposit with no disputes on that day. In our contract and as stated on the official government website, a deposit should be released 10 days after the tenancy has ended. Unfortunately it took nearly a month from our end of tenancy for our deposit to be returned to us by Streets Ahead. We sent 20+ emails and made several phone calls chasing the undisputed deposit before it was eventually returned to us yesterday. The email chains involved at least 4 individuals and 3 different departments, none of who have been able to provide us with a reason as to why our deposit of over £2000 was inexplicably held for weeks. This has been extremely frustrating and mystifying as to why such a seemingly simple process was made so complex and would still be grateful for an explanation.
