Booked a van for 8am on line to move house. Called at 7.50am to say there's no van and I can have one at 4.30pm. No apology just an excuse about the internet. Two days later and I have to chase them for refund. Now I've got to wait for my money back. Have to take more time off work and find somewhere else to hire a van. Can't believe a national company can behave so poorly. Wish there were negative stars.... Read more

Was quoted £225 for a budget car for one day! They claim not to rent Luton vans in our area but we see them regularly on site with Enterprise branding. Useless company.... Read more

I moved from London to Wales and hired one of their vans. The pick up was pretty straight forward and the drop off was the same. I did make a note of all the marks marks I picked up the vehicle and took pics just to cover myself. No hidden costs etc and no issues. I have seen some negative comments but I had no issues.... Hired a fiesta in March, unfortunately suffered a puncture, phoned enterprise, they advised me to phone AA, they repaired the puncture, took car back, didn't think anymore about it until this morning, when I looked at my bank statement, they're taking £95.70 for the puncture repair!! When I phoned enterprise about it, apparently its in the small print, they only cover mechanical damage! No one explained this when I hired the car through my insurance! I won't be using them again! Hardly me fault having a puncture!!... Read more

If I could award the manager, Kim, and her assistant, Shane, zero stars I would. I've used Enterprise for many years and this is the branch where the staff, through their total lack of professionalism, forced me to use another rental company - Europcar. Having rented a car from this branch for two months, with some satisfaction, they were informed a week before the end of the contract that I wished to extend for another month. On the morning of signing the extension I was informed that they would not do this. This was without notice or valid explanation and left me and my wife having to source another rental car. This caused disruption to our plans for the whole of that day. The Company makes a pledge to protect its customers from Covid, however, when it was asked if, upon returning the car, my wife could be dropped off at our home, twenty minutes away, this request was refused. We were informed that the best they could do was drop off at a bus or train station - in a pandemic? This was totally unacceptable and resulted in us having to return the car to another depot approximately 70 miles away. The happy ending to this sorry story is that I discovered Europcar were more professional and they rented me the same car for 100.00 cheaper per month. I would recommend anyone to price check Europcar. I have recently discovered that this branch has deducted sums from my account. After several phone calls to discuss they have been unable to offer a reasonable explanation. They have not been able to provide an itemised breakdown of costs? How can this be possible? I have charges against my credit card that Enterprise will not explain. Avoid this company.... Read more

Rented a panel van that had damage all round it when i picked it up, they tried to charge me a £250 excess fee for the repairs to it when i handed it back, avoid this company they are truly shocking, i wonder how many other people have been charged for repairs to already damaged vehicles... NEVER SHARE YOUR CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS WITH THEM AS THEY MAY CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU FOR NO REASON. This is the worst company you could hire a vehicle from. All they are looking for is making money by cheating customers and claiming that old damages caused by anyone who might have hired a vehicle from them. I hired a van for one day. On the day I picked up a van from them, they mentioned that (no damage was reported). I used the van for taking my stuff from a place to another. It was a very short distance and kept the van in my secured parking during night. When I dropped off the van, a member of their staff kept walking around pretending as he was checking damages. He knows that there were already some old damages there before I hired that van from them. He ended up by claiming that there is a new a scratch on the top of the rear left tyre of the van. It was really shocking and I felt in a moment that I was going to be cheated. When I asked him to prove that the other scratches (which he said there weren't caused by me) were there before I hired the van in a document/checklist/pictures, he said we do not need to prove that. They kept the deposit of £200 and attempted to take further £100 and then another £200 so I needed to report that to the bank to stop Enterprise from making further deductions from my bank account. I went to the police station and explained everything to them. They advised to go back to Enterprise and ask them to itemise the old damages as well as the new damage caused by myself. Again, Enterprise refused to provide me with any checklists. Swansea Police were really helpful and helped me to take a legal action against Enterprise. They referred my case to the Citizen Advice. I am %100 certain that the damage was not caused by me. I know that it will be a complicated case in courts but I really have no choice because they refused to prove that I caused the damage....
