Overestimated price at quote stage and advised a lower one as soon as home report valuation was received, suggesting upset price 10k below valuation.
Little feedback on website viewing figures unless I phoned to request it.
Support for property viewings and feedback from viewers was reasonable.
Once an offer was received, I had to email and phone Thornton's legal team repeatedly to chase progress.
Title deeds were already held by Thornton's, but it took two weeks to scan and email them to the solicitor, delaying written acceptance of the offer beyond the deadline given by the buyer. Solicitor handling my case seemed to think this was normal and deadlines for acceptance of offers were usually ignored.
Sale is not yet complete, but I would avoid using the same company for estate agency and legal services in future. It seems to encourage complacency and inefficiency, the opposite of what I expected.
