Feel as if we have been taken for a ride with this company. Initially went in to the office to check out a property on display. After viewing 3 properties and putting in notes of interest and offers and getting nowhere it was suggested it may be because our house wasn’t yet on the market.
Our house was then assessed and price discussed and we went ahead with home report and photos to put it on the market.
Within a couple of days we had a viewer (this viewer told me they were looking at homes to buy but had two properties to sell first) following week the same couple came around for a second viewing, when questioned by us they said they weren’t in a position to buy yet! I had already told the agent this couple weren’t in a position to purchase!
A few weeks later, no more viewings so we’re asked to reduce the asking price slightly to bring the property back to top of the list, which we did. Not another viewer and we have decided to take it back off the market.
I would not recommend this company to sell my property- I blame myself for not checking them out fully prior to agreeing to let them try and sell our home.

I went there few times to talk about the flat they had for rent and got ignored by people who work there, I've emailed few times and phoned they said they will get back to me and they never. That flat I was gonna rent is gone we got ignored by the workers several times. We went to them by person as well and got totally ignored by them once again that's not how they should treat other people.

After obtaining 4 Estate Agent reviews (for piece of mind and whole of market offering), from the moment Lisa “YourMove” entered my property, I knew she would be the perfect fit for my needs. So personable and cheery, she knew everything about the area, answered any questions right away and didn’t take up unnecessary time.
It is my belief that the team at “YourMove” are second to none. The fees were clear and value for money considering the service received. Upon appointment, I received a call almost daily with regular updates on media packs/sale boards and this was followed up with regular viewings, notes of interest and within a couple of weeks, the sale of my first home. The team of Lisa, Alasdair, Callum and Andrea deserve gold stars! I even received a thoughtful phone call from Andrea first thing on my closing date to wish me good luck. You don’t get that service anywhere else.
I was so overwhelmed by the efficient and knowledgeable team that I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I've recently purchased my first home and I couldn't have asked for a better estate agent. Everyone was friendly and so helpful anytime I came in or called up with a question..... And being a first time buyer there were lots of questions! I would highly recommend Your move in Dalkeith to anyone looking at properties etc.
Callum was great and so helpful, answered all my questions and happy to help with second viewings and fitting me in when ever he had a space to view the house or talk through questions.

From my initial meeting with Lisa at the start of an extensive refurbishment a year prior to the marketing of the property, the support I have received has been fantastic!
Within moments of meeting Lisa, I had decided that she and her team would be marketing my property. Lisa's local knowledge meant that she was able to advise on the priorities for my refurbishment.
One year later, I invited Lisa back to see the results of the refurbishment and I asked she and her team to be the sole agents for the property.
I couldn't have imagined that the day following the appearance of my property on their website, that it would receive a request to view.
What is even more incredible is that this viewing (made at 7.30am and facilited by Andrea-thank you!) resulted in an offer that was made above the asking price and all within the day of the viewing!
Even more incredibly, this potential buyer ticked every imagined box that any seller could wish to have: first time buyer with mortgage in place and what was especially important was that I wanted to sell to someone who would love it enough to want to make it their home and not buy to let it themselves.
So just 5 days after my property was marketed, I had agreed to sell to the first person who had requested a viewing!
Some might say that I was very lucky and I would agree, but I would also add that having an interest in any property at the time it is marketed can only result in a sale where there is a dedicated team who are marketing the property in the best way. Lisa, Andrea and Liz had taken time not only to find out what I had wanted, but also to find out about their potential buyer. I cannot believe how successful they have been in bringing he and I together!
For other potential vendors, there is minimal stress when selling a property via Your Move. A questionnaire, which forms the basis of the Home Report provides the vendor with the opportunity to inform a potential buyer of the property's energy efficiency re energy etc, but the vendor can also use the report to add as much information as they wish - as I did when listing all of the details of my property's refurbishment.
The legal team of Gilson Gray, which works in close partnership with Your Move guided me through the legal paperwork when I verbally accepted the offer to purchase my property - Jean was fantastic, regularly sending me emails to keep me informed and up-to-date on the progress of the sale. Everything was made as easy and as stress-free as possible.
There's a belief that some people will make major decisions based upon 'gut feeling' i.e. 'the ten second rule'. I can honestly say that from my first ten seconds in the company of Lisa and her colleagues Andrea and Liz one year ago, I knew that I wanted them to market my property. They are professional, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. My only sadness is that I am unlikely to be in a position to employ their services again as, I have no other properties to sell.

I have let before and this experience was stress free and efficient. One member of staff handling your move who phones sometimes just to put your mind at ease. The referencing is very simple and doesn't involve digging out lots of paperwork to substantiate. They also look towards the future and will give advice on buying schemes within your budget. I highly recommend this company and especially this branch. A big thanks to Callum who's been handling our move.

I was selling my parent house and was a bit apprehensive. I decided to use YourMove Dalkeith, as it was recommended by a couple of friends, and it was local and they knew the area well. I met Andrea and she went through the whole process in detail , and recommending the best options for me. Andrea was excellent at organising valuations, surveys, photographs, viewings etc , and basically took care of everything.
