I was a tenant for six years and the landlord had to sell so I was asked to leave. At first Tiger staff seemed ok and very helpful but then, I started to feel they were quite unhelpful and especially with communication. I had to chase queries up for updates on the dampness problem I had and the boiler issue when it went on fire!. I felt that I was a nuisance. When I left the property they said they would email me properties that came on the renting market but they never did. Truly not a very good letting agency all round. Also, they did not acknowledge receipt of rent payments.. rude ! Go elsewhere.... Read more

Absolutely shocking, awful estate and lettings agent. AVOID. I used them once in the past and then left because they found inappropriate tenants but then with another property was transferred back to them when they bought that company out. I am being held against my will on the contract of the old company and being told I need to pay 3 months management charge to leave when I never signed up with them and never even wanted them to manage my property. I am a landlord and wouldn't touch them with a barge pole and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Far better local agents in Blackpool.... Read more

Posting a review on behalf of a friend. Very rude and unprofessional staff who answer the phone. They cut you off mid sentence without allowing you to explain the reason for your call. After filling in the relevant paperwork, and request to view several properties, it's always the same response, either the property has gone,(which it hadnt the other day because we were told the current tenants were still in the property but were due to leave), or the staff have no idea who you are and have no paperwork despite a different member of staff telling you that they had received the paperwork a few days ago. All in all a very unprofessional service, with unpleasant and unprofessional staff. Avoid at all costs.... Read more

absolutely insane. They want to see your bank statement just to view a property and they force to see your bank statement and they quote you the incorrect law when you challenge them. Do not use this company. Thats why the vendor has a low response rate. The agent rejects over 90% of viewers because no one wants to show their bank statements unless an offer will be made.... I tried to making a viewing. A lady answered the call and said no viewings are allowed until she has seen my bank statement. This will defer anyone from buying. Most estate agents allow viewings and only when you make an offer, it is then that you need to provide proof of funds. Tiger estates are deploying an approach where sellers will struggle to sell. Do not use tiger's. Only use tigers if you dont want to sell your property.... Read more

We dealt with a number of agents before signing up with Tiger. They are head and shoulders above the others in the Kirkham area. Other agents did not keep us updated on what was happening with our property. At Tiger, we dealt with Steven and Kim. Steven bent over backwards to keep us updated on viewings and progress. He kept in regular touch with us (we were selling from 200 miles away, so communication was important) and he always spent time on the phone with us when he called. In our experience, this is unusual. He is knowledgable, efficient and can’t do enough for you. When the time came, Kim expedited the sale quickly and professionally. Full marks. Tiger.... Read more

Alan Hutton is a hardworking broker and an absolute credit to the industry. he is so patient and nothing is ever too much trouble. I know first hand that he will work late just to get his work done for you. from start to finish (although we aren't quite finished as we are waiting to exchange and receive moving dates etc as we are now in a chain) he has answered any questions we have or request. he had our DIP written at short notice and got us a great mortgage that was affordable for us and explained all the jargon that we didn't understand. without Alan there's no way we would know what we were doing. getting a mortgage is an absolute scary minefield. Absolutely discusting they lead you on got all paper work in for the house I applied for they said some was missing so took it all in and they kept hold of all my documents instead of copying and giving straight bk.rhen got told they got everything and just filling forms in and we would find out the day after yet when we rang dyvlater the girl was off then they said they needed to speak to landlord as my partner couldn't get a ref from work as closed cause of pandemic then a manager rang to say we couldn't have the property cause my partner couldn't get a ref and cause the landlord wanted someone who was working yet didn't say that from the start .my poor kids got there hopes up thinking we had a nice house wouldn't use these again... Had the misfortune of dealing with this company a few weeks ago. Unhelpful, arrogant and rude staff. Why would a landlord use them to sell their property is beyond me. I had to chase them on multiple occasions on an offer I made, which was accepted. However, due to their incompetence and silly delays I had to back out. A poor landlord lost out on a good offer purely because Tiger Sales staff couldn't be bothered speaking to people on the phone without showing how fed up they are with their jobs. And I am not alone who experienced this. Other people leaving negative reviews on here speak volumes. AVOID AT ALL COST FOR ANY PROPERTY RELATED MATTER.... Read more

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - Im still waiting on a deposit from 7 weeks ago. I moved out of a rented property on the 7th November, I have called atleast twice a week since with no call backs from Tiger what's so ever. Iv left messages, made complaints, sent emails, etc but they dont seem to care or do anything about it. Once they've had your money it's not there problem! The deposit was supposed to be in a DPS scheme but the reference number provided is invalid and the landlord has the deposit which was not agreed.... Read more

If I could give zero stars I would as this estate agents is the worst I've ever had the misfortune of being a tenant with and still have the misfortune of being a tenant and leaving can't come soon enough! They neglect your complaints and they keep neglecting repairs when you phone them time after time saying they will send someone out and they never do! They always say they will call but never do! Staff are rude and often talk over you probably due to the fact they don't like hearing the truth! They also ignore vulnerable tenants complaints that are living in complete and utter misery with terrible neighbours due to the fact they are completely heartless and don't care about their tenants! AVOID THESE SCAMMERS! They'll do anything to keep your deposit! We rented a property from Tiger Lettings for about 14 months and from within the first month we had issues. Over sensitive fire alarms placed in EVERY room of the house, continuously set off from cooking something as simple as pasta. We called up to complain when they randomly set off on 5th July 2018, only to be told to disconnect them and they'd send someone out the next day. Never heard anything back for FIVE MONTHS. In those five months, we also complained about damp. Again, nothing. Eventually, when they sent someone out from their maintenance team to just take a look at it all, he told us it was rising damp that hadn't been treated properly and was just painted over. Then, he also admitted that Tiger Lettings not sending anyone out for months is typical of them, as they want tenants to sort the problems themselves, out of their own pocket. So it got to about mid-May, beginning of June 2019 and we decided enough was enough. The rising damp was getting worse and no matter how many times we called, nothing was being done about it. The first issue with moving out was after handing in our notice, I received an e-mail from Nita, who tried to arrange the final inspection (check out inventory) before we moved out (and before the date we stated on the notice), meaning all our stuff would still be there and nothing would have been done to tidy it all up. I called her out on that and she changed it (in the tenancy agreement, it states we'd be charged for changing the date - probably them trying to get more money out of us). Then, she felt it to be necessary to inform me she drives past the property several times a day --- WHY? Our next problem was the first inspection that tells us what needs doing to the property before moving out. Firstly, the woman who came had no way of photographing the property to prove that we'd followed her advice. Then, she told us to simply hoover the carpets with a deodoriser, do a general clean and to make sure we get all the cob webs. NEXT problem was on the day of our final inspection (check out inventory). We received a call that morning from a woman saying that the guy doing check-out wouldn't be able to make it, but they wanted to do a viewing for potential tenants instead. ON MOVE OUT DAY. Oh, and then the inspector turned up and had no idea why the woman on the phone told us he couldn't make it. Similar story with the first inspector, who we had to rearrange and book time off work to let in because Nita said she wasn't available, only for the inspector to say the original date would have been much better for her, as she'd also had to come in on her day off to inspect the property. Great communication there, Tiger Lettings. Then, despite giving them the new address, they sent the letter regarding a claim on the deposit to the property we'd moved out of, knowing full well we wouldn't receive it. Luckily, I'd arranged to have all post redirected to us. The major issue was the deposit. Not only did they try to keep our deposit, but they added money to it claiming we'd damaged the property and hadn't shampooed the carpet (even though we were told hoovering it with a deodoriser was enough)! They wanted £1000 from us for it all. It's funny because you can clearly see in the check-in inventory (that Nita didn't want to send to me and I had to keep asking for it) that all damage had been there prior to moving in. So, we put in a dispute. I spent DAYS arguing our case, showing with the pictures I'd taken myself after moving out, once everything was cleaned and up to standards, as well as an invoice for the garden that it supposed to be LOW MAINTENANCE. The gardener even confirmed it wasn't low maintenance and they're actually falsely advertising it as such. They didn't even bother sending in their evidence (very suspicious, since Nita didn't want to send me the check-in inventory and if I hadn't had a copy, we would have lost our deposit and the rest they claimed). Scammers. Avoid them!... Read more

The worst agency we have ever dealt with. Would strongly advise to avoid! If there was a no-star option we would give that. It was days before they even sent our references and we had to practically get them ourselves and keep chasing them up. Everything took way longer than was needed and when the landlord eventually got back to us (we were told our references were great and nothing holding us back) the only reason we were given for being declined the property was “he didn’t think we were the right people” having never met us. Now we are £25 down, still not received our £125 back after over a week and obviously now are behind in finding a new home.... Read more

They do some fake thigs filing form and take £25 non refundable for each application After a few days call you oh sorry the landlord rejected your application. I have applied for one of the properties I am working I submitted my work paper and every thing and offer to pay 6 Months advance pay rent. Sadly after few days called me that the landlord rejected your application. I told them please tell me what is the reason for rejection they said nothing but rejected. This is just for taking £25. If I could give 0 stars I would, avoid this estate agents, references were contacted over 2 weeks after application submitted, after 3 and half weeks, I explained I was going to have to withdraw as I needed a house desperately and something else was available immediately, I specifically asked if I would still get my fee back obviously minus the £25 they charge for references as I had never known an agent take so long, which I was told I certainly would, just called in to be told no way as I withdrew...
