Throwing a single father out two days before Christmas all because landlady wants to up the rent ridiculously. I Asked for renovation (house full of mold and rotten plasterboard black mold in my son's room and just in a state of disrepair,) i said I'll pay the extra rent. So then they say we are selling up.
Absolute bunch of Pillock's you have just made a 7 year old child and his single father with a heart condition with limited capability, homeless because you want your cut of the sale of the property he is renting. And not even offering anything else or any support. Been renting 5 years from you prats and now am taking It to every possible legal action to balls your plans. Stay away from this estate agents they only care about the cash. They blatantly don't care about tenants and they swindle you with rental signings. They don't provide adequate maintenance and dismiss black mold. The house was a mess on moving in took 3 years to get a new kitchen as the old one that was already in on moving in was rotting. Cutting corners on the new kitchen. Room doors not fitted correctly, cheap handles on doors house poor state all over. I also have ex tenant's to back me in how shabby the house was for them an still is. I suggest you cough up or offer me another rental near my badly disabled mother as I am at the back of her at the moment and i am her carer. 22nd October 2023 not long enough to get situated elsewhere an you know it. Broomheads you don't want to go down this rd believe me. ???? And no we find out it's been let to SERCO to house illligal immigrants. So they made a Brit and his son homeless to house illligal immigrants. F you Broomheads.

I imagine this agents are seen as fantastic in the eyes of money hungry landlords. But if you’re renting be aware that they will leave you in poor conditions & lie about everything. I reported concerns about damp and black mould growth, leaking water pipes, and a door seal which allowed dirty drain water to pour through it, bubbling wallpaper and a broken toilet. Not to mention the render outside that would fall down allowing water access through the brickwork and broken fences (they conveniently forgot the back door key when I viewed). The locks to both the back and front door were also needing repair & the kitchen was completely unuseable due to the damp cupboards. They consistently failed to see to any repairs needed in full and lied about what they had done. They agreed for a workman to access via the back fence (which he climbed over) with no notice. I then took this further and got Environment officers from Blackpool Council to inspect. They have since issued a schedule of repairs and I have moved out. I then had a 6 week battle to get my deposit returned to me- I had to open a case with the deposit scheme agency to get this returned due to no communication or effort from them. Living here affected my health and the damp ruined many of my belongings. It seems that sadly Broomheads will only act when action against them has been taken. Disgusting agents. (Pictures are from when I was moving out- I had not been in the property for 2 weeks at this point and the mould growth was disgusting from not being there to clean multiple times a day).

What can i say about Broomheads. Well from the minute i walked in to the office i got a great feeling about it. Greeted by friendly and welcoming staff, i enquired about a property they had available for rent and was talked through the steps to go down. I left with a virtual tour in my email and an application pack to fill out. Any way I'm now settled into my beautiful home with the many many thanks of the team for your dedication to the speediness of the process. People are too quick to whine and whinge they forget to praise when its needed! Keep up the hard work and don't let anyone get to you! All the best!

Very bad estate agents. They will leave their tenants with bad conditioned homes. Extremely rude and vile mouthed ladies that work on the phones inside the office. I will not recommend any person to rent from these estate agents

I was left in a situation in my rental of 11 years that meant I had to reluctantly move. With the current housing crisis this was extremely worrying for me. I saw a rental property with Broomheads and I enquired. Upon my first phone call it was thoroughly explained to me what I would need to do, and how it would work with regards to securing a viewing and the property. I liked that the process Broomheads use that I knew when I physically saw the property I would have cleared all the checks and I’d have the property if I liked it.
Hannah was incredible with helping me do everything I needed to do, including wiping my tears as this was so daunting for me to move when I didn’t really want to. Hannah helped me to see this could be a positive step and a fresh start. She guided me through all the paperwork and checked it was all filled in properly on submission.
I was then handed over to Abby who helped me through once I’d been accepted. Again extremely helpful and explained everything.
I got my keys and moved in. We had a couple of teething problems on day one as you sometimes expect and all I can say is Hannah Abby and Darren all went well above any beyond to reassure me this would be resolved and sorted and my goodness they really did get things sorted for me and quickly.
Darren was absolutely incredible, he has kept me updated and done everything he can to resolve the few issues I had, which were all just teething problems in a new property. My new landlord has been incredible too in getting the issues authorised to be fixed.
All I can say is thank you. You’ve all been incredible in helping me into seeing this is a positive step for me and my son. We are so settled and absolutely love our new home.

Garbage agency! Truly!
Phoned to enquire about a property. Spoke with an unhelpful representative, who did not know too much, and was most unhelpful. Mid conversation, she heavily slammed down the phone on me. I called again instantly and said we got disconnected. So very disinterested, with a could not care less, attitude. I continued to leave my details.
Of course, no response. Nothing done like proposed.
It would serve you right to know, that us customers, are the ones paying your very small salary.

Scammers and liars ! After my offer was accepted they went with another buyer without any explanations.Extreamly rude office workers,very unprofessional attitude ! DONT BUY,SELL OR RENT with them ! Scammers !

So far not a great experience. Certain staff members are so hostile and unprofessional.
My husband has been trying to sell his house through broomheads for a few months and the communication has been dreadful. We have to ring up every few days to check the progress, then get told important information like ‘there’s been an offer’ etc. The case has been passed to two different agents, although the person working in it now appears far more proactive the communication still is very poor.
