Absolutely shocked, my pipes are leaking when ever i use the tap and monday is the soonest they can do, so i cant use my tap to wash up for 5 days, fuming absolute joke would think that is an emergency since i need to was my pots and pans to eat!

I have had 3 occasions to have to ask the council for help with problems in my home, the latest being yesterday. They have on each occasion been amazing. Had a call back the same day and the problem solved the next day. I would like to say thank you.

I have been moving around for the past few years. I have also been bidding on one bedroom flats for around 6 years. I am currently coming number 1 on those bids to get declined by the council due to arrears my ex partner accumulated in 2017 while my so called best man was living at the house
But because my name was not took of the tenancy agreement until 2 months ago
I am now liable for half of the arrears.
I have tried to contact and offer the whole sum of half of the arrears but they refuse to accept it and allocate me a flat until my ex clears her half which could take months even year's so they are intentionally keeping me homeless through a pandemic knowing that I have to travel around

I have lived in Redditch for 12 years, never had any issue with council. I have always found them to be polite and helpful, repairs are always carried out promptly.

I live in Greenlands, and Joe Baker the ward manager is absolutely useless, he makes promises he can’t keep or has no intention of keeping, In the last couple of years this guys been a complete failure and joke from my point of view
Has a rather ambitious mouth, Has absolutely no powers to do what he said he’s gonna do......
It’s all about looking good from a PR point of view, useless and a waste of time

Never seen a council like this.roads are broken.rain water come from gutters.and we still have to pay 128 pounds each month.garbage bin after 15 days.all of residents have to complain about this council.all of our money paid they are sitting on their chairs for doing nothing.

Disgusting council told me two get an drawing for a small bathroom which cost £2000 the drawing I'm trying two give is straight forward my two next door neighbour is ranted no landlord live there. Talking about over looking. down buy property in Redditch uneducated idiots make life hell for people and money scammers

Lived in Redditch since the age of two.Redditch is a very green town and there is much evidence that the local economy is growing at quite a fast pace.The Arrow Valley Lake and countryside centre is a lovely place to visit.The Kingfisher Shopping Centre is brill especially as when Britain notorious for much wet weather you can enjoy all the shops under cover.
Recently the Redditch Borough Council invested in a
new swimming pool at the Abbey Stadium.Its a shame the bus service is so bad on Sundays to places like Birmingham.
Redditch needs a lot more for young people.
