My partner did work for this company in August 2020 and has still has not been paid we have chased the invoice over the past year and a half they don’t answer the phone or respond to emails! We are a very small business with young children and I find this absolutely disgusting that a company can instruct work knowing that they aren’t going to pay them! Whether you are looking to carry out work for them or let a property I would highly avoid them they would have been claiming the payment from the tenants therefore they have robbed this money from us! We are now taking legal proceedings.... Read more

Terrible agency! Issues with beds, plumbing, and no curtains for rooms with large windows looking onto the street which have been on-going issues for months. Cupboards have fallen off the wall and it’s a health hazard, they never answer the phone or messages, there isn’t an emergency number and their office always seems to be empty. AVOID THIS AGENCY! Despite moving out in August 2021, we still have not had our deposit back. They will tell you it'll be paid by the end of the day, and it never appears! It looks like they removed our deposit from the protection scheme halfway through the tenancy and failed to put it into a new one! They make excuses on the phone and ignore emails. Throughout the year it was difficult to get any responses with any problems to do with the house. They removed our deposit from a protected scheme in the middle of our tenancy. They then took months to return our deposit. I would only recommend asking for deposit protection certificates when you start your tenancy and at the end of your tenancy looking at the Shelter website for help on getting your deposit back. Seems to happen far too often by the looks of it.... Read more

Lovely property, awful estate agent. I work from home in a professional role and need good internet access. We paid for all utility and broadband as part of our rent, although Tyne2Let seem to have not been paying the bills! Three days ago, our internet went off. Contacted the provider and informed that the agent hasn't paid the bill. Contacted Tyne2Let who said they are in the process of moving broadband and "forgot" to tell us. Words cannot describe how unacceptable this is. I often take estate agent reviews with a pinch of salt, as I know that some people will exaggerate problems to make particular companies sound bad. Unfortunately, this is too far. To cut me off when I am expected to work from home, I've never been so frustrated in my life. I would not use this company again - whether to rent or buy!... Right from the start of my rental period with Tyne2Let there were problems. When I moved in we weren't given back door keys and didn't receive them until 2 months later. This caused us huge problems, especially when our front door handle broke and left us unable to enter our property at 2 am. Our letting agent refused to provide us with an emergency contact number until he was forced to. Issues were never resolved quickly, and often the communication was so poor, that we had no idea how or when things would be fixed. They often failed to inform us of handymen entering the propety, and we would only find out when we bumped into them in the house. The property was dirty when we moved in and was not maintained well. The agency staff were rude, unproffesional and arrogant and tried to use bullish behaviour to intimidate us into not reporting issues. As student renters, we didn't expect much, however, we did expect to be treated with respect by our agent and for our agent to behave proffesionally.... Read more

This is the second time I've posted a review about Tyne2Let and can only add that the service continues to remain par excellence. Staff are not only knowledgable but go out of their way to help. Faiz and Sophie are always happy and willing to go that extra mile to ensure that the client is satisfied. Despite the fees being much less than that of the bigger companies, there is no compromise on quality and delivery of results. I would highly recommend this company. Keep up the good work guys....
