We went through Greetham Gilbert to get our house for second year and the whole process was honestly so smooth. Daniel was the one who showed us around the property and he was great — really friendly, answered all our questions, and helped us secure the house there and then so it was taken off the market straight away.
After that, Nina K helped us with all the paperwork and signing. She was super clear, quick to respond, and made the whole admin side so much easier to deal with.
Overall, Greetham Gilbert have been really helpful from start to finish. Would definitely recommend them to any students looking for housing.

We would highly recommend Greetham Gilbert. Rena was incredibly professional and communicative throughout the whole experience and I can't imagine the process with a different agent! We really felt valued as people as opposed to being viewed as a number or sale, which unfortunately has been our experience at other agencies. We also felt we had the support of the whole team. Rena and the team made the whole move so easy for us from viewing a property they were selling through to putting our house on the market and then getting us through to completion. Outstanding service and would use again without a doubt!

Really can't say enough about Greetham Gilbert! Met up with Matt for a property Viewing late-July Early August(ish) as I had to find some student accomodation fast due to a sudden change of circumstances and he genuinely could not have been more accomodating :) Put me in touch with a group looking for an extra person when I told him I was doing this on my own and thanks to him doing that I'm now in a great place with some great friends. Matt and the rest of the team are great and have really helped me along the way with any questions that I had doing this for the first time :)

SCAMMERS - AVOID. Made us leave house early, ripped us of £545 and then took an additional £786 from deposits.
We paid rent until 31st August but were told to clear out by the 26th so cleaners and decorators could come in. Landlord kept the full month's rent and then deducted cleaning fees etc from our deposits as well after blatantly ripping us. Louise Greetham provided no help. Communication was dismissive, with blame pushed onto the “lead tenant.” Students avoid this agency AT ALL COSTS

I had a really great experience with this estate agency! They were able to fit me in for a last-minute viewing, which I really appreciated. Rena, who showed me around the property, was especially helpful – friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of my questions.
Although the property itself was lovely, it wasn't quite the right fit for me. That said, the agency has a fantastic system in place for giving feedback and helping match clients with more suitable options. They even offer a business WhatsApp, which made communication super easy and efficient.
They've also offered to send through any future properties that might be a better match, which shows how proactive and supportive they are. Overall, the whole service has been excellent – professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. Special thanks again to Rena for her time and kindness!

We originally was looking for a property in Newcastle for my Son due to a new job in Darlington. We dealt with Matt and Roger unfortunately we had to pull out of the sale . We dealt with Matt the majority of the time and wow what an amazing guy he is. He treated us with respect and understood our needs. Matt was an absolute star. We have bought and sold several houses over the years and we have never had an estate agent as accommodating and kind as Matt. Thank you to you all what an amazing estate agent and staff. Great service from the team at Greetham Gilbert, been using them for some time now. So far one of the best agents in Jesmond I have personally used since moving away from a cowboy firm in the close proximity. Louise is communicative and on the ball.
Roger provides a great level of advice when it comes to selling or renting and does a great job at hitting expectations on sale prices on every property we have passed his way.

We initially used GG to find tenants for our student properties with a view to them managing same. Advertising was professional and excellent rentals were achieved.
We have since employed them to market and sell one of the properties. Once again standard of advertising was spot on and Roger achieved a really good sale price.
