Struggled to get anywhere with maintenance issues.
Moved in July 2024 (around 5 months ago) and we still have outstanding maintenance issues to be fixed despite raising these issues through Hive’s maintenance system the first week we moved in. We have contacted multiple members of staff regarding these issues and half of them have been resolved after chasing them but the rest seems to be forgotten about.
I have now gave up chasing for them to be fixed.

We bought a property through Hive Estates and from the start the communication was amazing. Terri Leigh was very friendly and helpful answering any queries and relating them to the vendor. The process was seamless even though we encountered some issues towards exchange and completion Terri was very competent and confident using her initative to ensure the transaction took place. I am a student, and last year I chose Hive estates as mine and my friend’s estate agent, and it was one of the worst choices we’ve ever made.
Due to no fault of their own, our boiler broke during October, however it took over 2 months for them to fix it (during Winter). The delay for someone to come out to assess the situation then fix it was unacceptable, so was the fact they provided only 2 small unit heaters for a house of 5. Every time we tried to voice our concerns we felt like we weren’t taken seriously and when we asked for our money back from the months that we had no heating or hot water, they said it wasn’t their problem.
Would not recommend after this experience.

After calling into the Hive office, my stress and worries about finding a high quality rental with tight time constraints were significantly reduced after speaking with Victoria and Roz.
