We sold our property through Wards Staplehurst, completing earlier this month. Julie and Maddie were absolutely incredible. They found a buyer for our house very quickly (twice in fact, as our first sale ended up falling through). They gave us really good advice on pricing our property when it first went to market which I think was invaluable in getting a buyer quickly. Their fees were fair and competitive and we never felt pressured to use the recommended solicitors or mortgage advisors. They were always really easy to get hold of over the phone and dealt with any queries super quickly. As with most property transactions we ended up having a few surprises and stressful moments during the process. What can I say about the fabulous Chase. From our first meeting I instantly knew she was going to be the one to help me. Personable, knowledgeable and dam right lovely smiley person. Always efficient with replies to messages and phoning me to check in on how things were going without being a pest. After viewing a few properties I quickly decided the area of Staplehurst wasn't for me. What Chase did was help me get connected to the area I wanted to be in and was the liaison between myself and a new Wards branch (Tonbridge). She sent properties and set up viewings for me. I have now brought a property via the Tonbridge office and I am so grateful to Chase for helping me through this process. She is a wonderful asset to Wards. Likewise, if Chase isn't around, Maddie instantly responds on her behalf and is happy to help also. What a lovely team!... Read more

I had just received orders from the family court to sell my marital home. My ex wife and children still resided in the property however it was agreed by all parties that is was for the best. I made appointments with 3 local estate agents. Jennifer Geoghegan-senior branch manager of Wards of Kent in Staplehurst was the first to respond to my email and visit me at my parents home. She visited before the other estate agents even responded to my enquiry for sale of my property. I decided within the first 5 minutes of meeting Jennifer that I would use her service. It was for the smallest but most poignant reasons. She had a smile on her face as she spoke, she didn't push any ulterior motives other than understanding my situation. Any fears or concerns that I had, as to how to get this done was smoothed away by Jennifer during our meeting. From that point on she was a constant source of encouragement for me. If she wasn't available in the office her colleague Maddie Farmer responded immediately or after liaising with Jennifer. Everyone was on the same page. Then finally received an offer on the property. Had initial worries and hiccups caused by my ex wife which again Jennifer was on hand to assist with. Once we got to the stage of transferring the deeds, Jane Baker another star, working with Wards, sale progression manager, literally was grabbing the bulls by the horn and updating me with enquiries from the buyer, keeping up to date with the conveyancing team and finally we got our completion date. These ladies dragged the situation kicking and screaming until the job was done. Oh did I forget to mention as I live abroad with the time difference and office hours, resource it didn't phase them. A huge thank you to Jen, James and the team at Wards in Staplehurst! Jen handled the sale of our house after we had been very underwhelmed with Purple Bricks who had previously been handling our sale. The difference between Wards and Purple Bricks was like night and day, Jen was very informative, knowledgable and clearly good at what she does, she came round and after looking around the house, offered us a very competitive fee to handle our sale, even going so far as to offer a discount to make up for the fees already paid to Purple Bricks, she was clearly confident in her teams ability to provide 1st class service, and as it turned out she was right! Wards were attentive from the outset, and successfully matched our house to existing buyers who were looking for properties like ours in the same location. During the latter part of the sale we had a couple of hiccups in the chain, and it was good to know that Jen and James were on the phone chasing up the outstanding queries every step of the way on our behalf. We have recently completed and the move went well, none of this would have been possible without Jen, James and the whole team at Wards, we really can't thank them enough, and to anyone looking to sell a property in Staplehurst we can't recommend Wards highly enough!...
