A good personal experience, really proactive & helpful.
When enquiring regards to a valuation I spoke to a lady who was rude, abrupt, and couldn't careless.
Speaking to Howard who works there he was exactly the same, and couldn't put the phone down on me sooner.
If they cant handle a valuation enquiry, can they really handle a sale of a house? Probably not...
Unbeatable customer service from the Freeman and Forman Tonbridge team! We can't recommend them highly enough. They were extremely attentive, nothing too much trouble. A pleasure to work with. We are so very pleased that John and the team were recommended to us.
Keep up the good work!
Booked in two viewings, had stream of emails confirming them. Called on way to let them know we would be 5 minutes late. Turns out they had booked it on for a week later. No reason why, complaints on phone not dealt with.
Told would come back to us after finding out what happened, heard nothing about this.
Managed to book in an emergency viewing later in the day, they still turned up 15 minutes late.
We were told by the seller that this had also happened before. If you are selling with them good luck. If you are booking viewings with them make sure you pin them down on dates.
Overall a nightmare to deal with.
This is the second time I have used James H at Bracketts Tonbridge, the first time for a purchase and recently for a sale..James offered huge assistance and often after hours to help complete a tricky sale. He was backed up by Janice who kept me informed every step of the way and placed just the right amount of pressure on all parties to complete in a tricky situation. I highly recommend the team at Bracketts, professional, knowledgeable, experienced and seemingly un-flappable. 5 star *****
Do seem to dramatically overvalue property. Have just taken on 68 Whitefriars Wharf, Tonbridge & there is 3+ months of noisy and disruptive building work due to take place around September right outside this property. 60 days notice of this is imminent however it is well known about by the owner as sales have been terminated due to the impending severe disruption. It was also discussed at the last AGM in September last year. Brackets has not mentioned this in the details relating to the property and I have asked them to include them this morning. I was well on the way to purchasing this property with another agent & it was never disclosed to me. Hopefully Brackets will be more honest about the details than the previous agent, I can see no evidence so far however! I paid hundreds in solicitors & search fees before I came across the details by chance myself. The Management Agent for Whitefriars Wharf is actually very good and knows all the details, Deborah is a good contact to speak to. Buying property is an expensive and disruptive process, to not have 3 plus months of imminent pneumatic drills, noise and dust right outside your window disclosed and the loss of your parking space for that time is unacceptable in my view. Good luck if you are considering this property.
