We were very pleased with our house sale experience with Savills, Cranbrook, from start to finish. We met with 4 agents, Duncan Petrie presented Savills very professionally and gave us total confidence that they would market our house to the appropriate clientele and achieve the price we required. We trusted him as a person and these factors made choosing Savills to work with an easy decision.
Savills lead us with ease through the process of having our house photographed and marketed. We were then surprised at how many Savills staff came to view the house before marketing, so that everybody who would be involved in the sale knew the property for themselves.
Cathy and Lea were the two people who conducted all our viewings, they were lovely to deal with, always arriving for viewings in good time and a happy mood. We always felt they did their very best to present our home and gave us valuable feedback. We had several viewings from appropriate potential purchasers.
When we received offers for the property Duncan Petrie supported and advised us helpfully throughout the negotiations.
After the offer had been accepted we then were placed in the very capable hands of Sarah Hunt. We can't rate her highly enough. Ours was a very tricky chain, through no fault of Savills, and we truly believe that the sale would have fallen through if it wasn't for Sarah. She endlessly negotiated between all parties and really should be a diplomat as she managed to do this keeping all parties happy and onboard; we're sure this must have been a very difficult and thankless task for her. Sarah always kept us up to date with everything, contacted us almost daily, replied to emails and telephone calls promptly and was a huge support when things were tricky, she was simply amazing.
To summarise the whole team at Savills, Cranbrook were outstanding and we can't recommend them enough. They made what is a difficult and sometimes stressful process as easy and painless as it can be. We thoroughly recommend them as an agent and wouldn't hesitate to use them for any future sales.

We have sold two properties through Savills of Cranbrook and on each occasion Leanne Gammon, David Sercombe and the administrative team were excellent.
On the most recent sale, prior to going to market, we met with Leanne, David and the viewing team to discuss price and marketing. Through discussion where all views were considered, a strategy was established.
We went to market just before the Brexit vote. Uncertain times. However, the strategy was spot on and we had some excellent footfall with 2 offers within 10 days. Both were rejected and an increased offer was accepted at the top of of our asking price. Fantastic!
Throughout the conveyance, Leanne liaised with us, the buyer and both solicitors to make sure all were heading in the same direction.
The sale completed and the new owner is very happy with her new family home.

Leanne and her team were very professional and extremely helpful, managing the process efficiently throughout. All staff were proactive, well informed, liaising, anticipating and dealing with issues through solicitors, mortgage broker, the council and other parties. They ensured the transaction progressed speedily, resolving all matters (some of which were very complex) quickly and efficiently. They were familiar with the local area (even recommended where to source a particular stove) and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We would highly recommend Savills Cranbrook to anybody looking for a professional and reliable service.

Absolutely dreadful.
Their web site does not give normal e-mails and forces customers to use their fill-in form, which it seems is not read by thee staff. This system of e-mailing means the writer does not keep a copy in their normal mailbox. Most unprofessional. I tried to use their on line form to request a valuation, but got no response. I then had to telephone their office which is not easy for me during the daytime, as I am in meetings or traveling. I received a frosty and indifferent reception, but was assured that a valuation would be done. I then received a note saying that a booking had been made for the valuation, but it is now nearly two weeks later I have not heard anything from Savills. I assume they are not interested in business. Trying to initiate business with them has wasted two weeks of marketing time.
This company needs a major shake up. If you are buying or selling a property you expect an agent to be polite and responsive, and to attend promptly to the basic things that any new customer would expect.
