We recently sold in Wymondham through Warners and found them to be knowledgeable and helpful throughout. Dominic got us on the market within days and with sound advice we had sold within two weeks. We felt the marketing of the property was done well with good quality photography including use of the drone. Everybody in the office was always friendly and helpful, and somebody always answers the phone. Sue in particular is a real asset to the team. Just completed on a house which was being marketed by Warners - all of the staff were very helpful, with an extremely 'can do' and pragmatic approach in all of our engagements with them; particularly Sue and Michaela. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they always came back to us with prompt and useful advice, mediating between the seller and us as the purchasers in a very fair and amenable way. Had round to value. Told to ‘dress it’ and put as much effort into the house as we were into clearing the garden (we had gardeners round at time). I know the house isn’t perfect but we are also not stupid and have people due round to clean, paint and looking for furniture to put in spare rooms- if he spent more time speaking to us he’d have found this out. It felt rude and I felt judged and uncomfortable (in my own home!). House valued at £50k less than two other agents, with not being able to find comparisons (the other two agents came armed with pages of these and talked us through each and the differences theyd factored in prior to value being given, not Warners there was very little detail given on the price quote, honestly got the ‘couldn’t care less’ vibe from the valuer. Made assumptions like a family won’t but it when the previous two owners have been families) this isn’t about making money and we’d go with lower price for right agent who we thought would put effort in but it was not a very pleasant experience at such an early stage. I regret letting him my home.... Read more
