Felt under pressure to accept low offers. Felt they were more for the buyers than myself. Very sarcastic comments from one of the staff.
Remember they are not your friends it is a business.
Felt railroaded.
Feel let down. Felt bullied by certain members of staff. Felt powerless and all control taken away from me. Even the manager acted in a bullying way and I was feeling scared and frightened by his manner towards me. Just so upset feel it was a done deal and they took all my choices away from me and l had no control. Even at the end l wanted to cancel but was lied to.
I believe that they new the couple and would not tell me the section of the report that found fault with my house.
I just didn't believe them and knew they were lying to me.
I was definitely going threw a bad time and couldn't think straight. I was talking nonsense as l had lost my mind threw the stress.
I will never forgive them for the way l was blind.
. They wouldn't even let me complain about them to the Ombudsman as they said they didn't have a complaints procedure..

I had a property within the heart of Egerton and on reading that William Thomas were local experts I decided to sell with them , they have been lovely to deal with throughout the process , I gave them the keys and they did the rest but totally professional always willing to help with any questions I had.
The property is now sold and completed ,
I would highly recommend them if you are thinking of selling in the local area try them I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Enquired about a house on the second of June and was really impressed that they called me on the bank holiday Friday to arrange the viewing. However 2 of us finishing work early and driving 30 mins to the property they were a noshow for the viewing tonight. We hung around another 25 min and came to the conclusion they forgot about us. I wonder if the vendor would appreciate losing a viewing.

Sean does a great job in capturing the photos and Janet and Judith in the office are fantastic in their communication, providing un-prompted regular updates ensuring the sale progresses in a timely manner - something that can’t be too easy just now!
Mike and Gaynor over in Lettings really helped us out in securing a rental property which exactly fit our needs, something which we thought was highly unlikely within the timescale we had to work with! Again, communication has been excellent.

Having recently purchased and sold a house through William Thomas, I couldn’t recommend this great company enough. They (Steven) understand the local market, consult on pricing and manage your expectation well whilst selling your home, they also advise on offers made to ensure you consider all aspects of the offer, asking buyers the right questions and obtaining the right information from them. I didn’t have to worry about anything as I know it was all taken care of.
We then purchased a house through them at the same time and although the local market is a little crazy at the moment once our offer was accepted , it remained that way! We were bought up to speed with the chain and everything was managed to get things over the line as quickly as possible. There were no real hiccups and even with covid seeming to make everyone’s life more difficult, things were made as stress free as possible.
A special shout out to Janet in the office who tirelessly works to ensure solicitors are doing what they should be - no small task as anyone knows who has bought or sold a house. She regularly called to catch up to make sure we stayed informed about everything. She is an absolute gem and an asset to WT!

If I rated William Thomas 11/10 it’d be a fair score.
My house went live on the web 24 hours after the pictures were taken, within an hour my first viewing was arranged who after 4 offers purchased my property.
Steven & Warren attended the initial consultation, the pictures and write up was so professionally taken care of.
Janet & Judith took over the admin from the office, their personal service and TLC throughout has been brilliant.
The entire process offered by the team was second to none, we were kept informed of proceedings throughout, everything confirmed and followed up with emails with both the sale of ours, and purchase of our new property, the team at William Thomas happily carried out all the professional liasing with my solicitor at Farleys.
As you can probably guess I’d have no hesitation in recommending William Thomas Estate Agents.

Just moved back to Bolton after 10 years being away so getting the right house was a big deal for us. I have to say that service William Thomas provided was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. It's fair to say they went above & beyond what you'd normally expect. We had more then a few bumps in the road and the move was in doubt a couple of times but Steven & Jan's professionalism was outstanding all the way through. Just completed on buying my first home! Everything from viewing houses to getting the keys yesterday went smoothly! I was kept informed continually throughout from Janet. All my emails were answered quickly and my calls returned. This is a big thing for me as too many times I, as the customer have had to do all the chasing!

My family and I have used William Thomas for a number of house sales and purchases. The whole team are excellent going the extra mile to provide an excellent service without being too intrusive or pushy. For example a house we were interested in came up on the market some time ago and was then removed but WT contacted the vendor. I moved into a property that needed significant unexpected repairs and Stephen suggested some possible trades people. All the staff are a delight to deal with and very reliable

In twenty years renting, I have never had a worse or unprofessional experience than using William Thomas to find and rent a property.They use landlords they know to be disreputable and will lie on their behalf to find them tennants and to keep the landlords using their service. I would advise you to give them a wide berth in any capacity.
[edit] The reply from William Thomas is deliberately misleading as that was nowhere near the limit of their involvement in our rental and subsequent disagreements with the landlord. Pretending to be a fair arbitrator, writing letters to court that were at best incorrect and unprofessional, potential collusion with the landlord to defraud, admission of lying to prospective new tennants to re-rent the property...
