Had a truly awful experience with them. They refused to return our deposit after renting with them, and they attempted to use bullying tactics, assuming it would make us go away. Obviously, this didn't work, and the deposit protection scheme has agreed with us and awarded us our full deposit back! If anyone reading this is currently renting with them, when you leave, dispute every deduction from your deposit no matter what it is and use the deposit protection scheme, it's free to do this and very much worth it.

**UPDATE**
Unbelieveably Your Move have now attempted to claim £350 for 'cleaning' the property that was returned and verified by professional cleaners as being in a superior state than which it was recieved.
when supplying evidence to our dispute, a 'breakdown' was given of the £350 cleaning fees, as a word document, with one line in it saying "The landlord wishes to claim the below: 350 cleaning " and no actual breakdown supplied.
what's worse is they've tried to introduce new evidence to mydeposits that they did not show the tenants during the dispute, which is borderline fraudulent. the staff should hang their heads in shame.
DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL DATA!!! If I could post zero stars, or minus stars, I would. an absolutely appalling organisation, who clearly do not care for their tenants. operating on behalf of a landlord, we begun a tenancy where Your Move gave us a disgustingly dirty property, with mould on the windows and grime on the floors.
When we told them about it, post move in, they didn't care and wanted us to fill out an array of paperwork that no tenant is obligated to complete.
What's worse, is when it came to the end of the tenancy, Your Move attempted to demand information they have no legal right to (such as cleaning organisations, forwarding addresses) and wanted to force us to use a 'mydepositary' software that looks like the independent deposit holder, but is actually software that Your Move utilise.
We did not consent to having our data processed and abused on these subsystems, and were shown no Data Processing Agreement to sign at the point of tenancy.
What's worse, is they then proceeded to try and claim £350 for a 'general clean' and 'appliance clean' when the property was disgusting when we received it, and the oven even worse! we had returned the property in a state better than when it was received, and had professional cleaners in weekly throughout the tenancy, so this is just a clear and blatant money grab from Your Move.
I'm unable to divulge further as we're in the beginnings of legal action against Your Move, but rest assured if you're looking to let with them, expect to be in court. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

just before christmas we were asked to vacate a property at short notice as the landlord had decided to sell it, fortunately we found a suitable house quickly and prepared the property to a high standard, paying a deposit on the new house and moving out.
We are Nearly a month into chasing for the return of the £1300 + Deposit paid to your move who today advised that they cannot get in touch with the landlord - the deposit is not there responsibility - suggesting that we chase it up ourselves - They have taken the rent, the deposit,issued the agreemant, done the inventory, ensured we hope that the deposit was insured as legally required as the agent - Now they have basically told us to go away - Shocking service and really worrying behaviour from a letting agency who look good on the face of it but do not look after the interests of their tenants - stuff you hear about but never hope to experience - Today we collected some mail from the agent who asked us to delete the review and added that legally the deposit does not have to be returned for 90 days , after which we are able to take further action - Had we been told this before we rented the property we would not have taken up the tenancy - we still dont know who the deposit is insured through - not getting anywhere fast.

Don’t pay holding deposit.
After all the checks ( Everything passed) they asked me for guarantor. I don’t have, because I’m alone in this country.
When I said I don’t have they said „we can’t rent you this property” then I asked for my deposit back. They said „no”. There was nothing in the contract before I paid. When I wanted speak to manager they said manager is busy. After few emails and told them it’s illegal and send them regulation from gov.uk they send me an email they will try to speak to another company who have my deposit. If I lend a money to my sister and she will lend it to her friend who own’s me money then? Unacceptable… I’ve had to call leicester trading agency, leicester city council and contact my bank about fraud. I lose my time and energy. No one apologise for this issue…
Don’t Pay any deposit before you sign contract!!!!!!!!!

Me and my husband were so disappointed with the service from your move.
We got them out for a valuation and were impressed so signed up to sell our property with them.
Were promised it would be listed Friday morning didn’t come on until almost the end of the day Friday afternoon.
We advised your move that we had found a property we loved and wanted to put an offer on it and they promised they’d do everything they could for us and put it up on the market first thing but this didn’t happen. It’s resulted into us loosing our dream home.
Were told no fees were to be paid up front but then had the legal team emailing us to bank transfer money.
Your move weren’t proactive in their approach to selling our property. The photos were of poor quality and only a few sentences were written describing our property. There wasn’t a break down of each room written on the write up. A lot of family and friends told us to complain right away but we wanted to give them a chance.
The five days it was on the market for with your move they did nothing to gain any form of interest apart from putting the property on Rightmove.
We decided to pull our property from the market but this wasn’t done right away, and they left it on the market without our consent for another day.
Overall we wouldn’t recommend your move and are really dissapointed and upset with the service received.

A big thank you to Maddy who sold our house after a terrible experience with another local estate agents. She was very professional in her approach with the presentation to prospective buyers and always provided clear follow up information after viewings.
We were sorry to lose her when she was promoted to run the Nottingham sales office, but this was after her hard work had achieved a sale for us and we are confident that she will be very successful in her new role.
Also a big thanks to the remaining staff who picked up the account and managed the final stages of completion.

Sadly when you see a house you like you can’t choose the estate agent that’s selling it. Convinced to use Your Move solicitors as they were all under one roof, this was not the case, solicitors were city based but paid £400 over the odds. Poor communication between estate agent and solicitors. When I moved into the house it was not empty, full of unwanted furniture, garage was full to the brim with paint tins, rusted tools, more unwanted bric brac. Avoid if possible. This branch is untrustworthy and just want your money ££££.

We had previously listed the property with another local agent who we found to be disappointing (sending a host of people to view the house who had no intention of buying just wanted an afternoon out or for whom the property was inappropriate). Your Move Coalville were a breath of fresh air. They listened to what we wanted and acted upon that. They were responsive, professional and efficient.
When we had secured an offer and accepted it, the team then followed up on every stage of the process to completion, ensuring that it happened in a timely fashion and to suit all parties. By far the single worst experience in letting I have ever had. Whilst I except that there is always a line between the agent and a landlord, to completely wash your hands of severe safety and comfort issues is just not acceptable. Leaks impacting the electricity as well as being without a washing machine for two months and all they would do is point the finger at the landlord. Then at the end of the tenancy I hand the spare keys to (the spare keys) the agent a day after my tenancy ends and they want to charge me an extra day rent. Unprofessional and very very poor customer service. If you can go elsewhere.
In answer to YourMove 's response 12/01/21 - I am affraid you are wrong. I have email threads as long as my arm going across weeks and weeks with regard to the various plumbing challenges that were encountered. These became so bad that the knock on impact on the ground floor ceilings meant that there was huge dark damp marks (pictures enclosed). In addition the shower that leaked continuously was delayed for over 5 weeks whilst the landlord and maintenance team decided on what colour to select for the panels. Eventually these sparkling new white panels got installed over the top of the mould that was built up (god help the new tennents when that eventually breaks through). And now I am being chased by the agents because the new tennents cannot set up an account with the utility company due to the fact that my pay as you go account was still live. Well , nor could I when I moved in and after chasing the agent and the landlord I found it was due to a debt that was on the account.
Additionally , now that you have got me started, the cleanliness of the place when I moved in was disgusting, even after I was told that the landlord "threw and all nighter" cleaning the place... well have a look at the picture of the inside of the fridge - your poor tennents can decide of your pre letting checks are up to standard.
Oh..and safety , lets have a look at that. One of the many leaks meant that the mains connected smoke dectector had to be disconnected ... and when we moved in we found that the switch in the kitchen that powered the boiler was loose - not just loose, but actually hanging of the wall which meant that the boiler would switch on and off all by itself (see the picture enclosed. I fixed that myself as we a) needed hot water and b) need to make it safe as it was open to spills and splashes in the kitchen.
So here you are chasing down the contractual obligations for £53 when you signed this place off as clean and safe to rent.
I have asked to speak to some one senior enough to understand customer service but as yet I am still waiting.
Just as a final point, I am saying all this knowing that you are still holding my deposit, I am that angry that I cannot sit back and read your complete diahtribe of excuses and finger pointing that I have to say something even risking my deposit in doing so.

Valuations staff helpful, informative and not at all pushy (whilst I dithered) ~ ultimately this is what 'sold' them to me in the first place.
House sale dealt with quickly and efficiently; despite additional difficulties due to Covid. At one point I needed stuff printing and scanning in a hurry... no problem, they were happy to help.
The only reason I've not given 5 stars is that it was an easy transaction with no chains and no complications; so I cannot rate how well they perform in such circumstances.
I would have no hesitation in using their services again, and in recommending them to friends.

I’ve been renting my property out through the Coalville Your Move Branch for a while now. It’s usually Maddy that I deal with and I couldn’t be happier. My current tenant recently gave notice and Maddy and the Coalville team were on it straight away and found a new tenant within a week of it being on the market. I’ll only be without a tenant for a week.
