The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible.
She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side.
I would not recommend.
Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.

The person who gets you bought into working with them and does the valuation is great, but then unfortunately the people who actually assist in the sale are terrible. Really poor communication, no mediating, no energy and absolutely add no value to the whole process. Very disappointed.

Although it was over two years ago, the experience was good. I cannot fault Onella and her team going the extra mile. Feedback was prompt and would recommend her, but I have heard that the Guiseley branch has been closed, such a pity

Amazing team! Special mention has to be made of Josh Carroll though.....so very helpful, knowledgeable and extremely good at dealing with tricky buyers and tardy solicitors! Josh was always very professional and dealt admirably with a very lengthy sale. I always felt listened to and able to ask questions. I can't thank Josh and the team enough for everything they did to get this one finally over the line! Thank you!

We bought our house in 2019 so this is a little late, apologies George because you deserved this review much sooner! George was absolutely brilliant - we tried a few estate agents and found a lot of the staff pushy and unreliable. This was not the case at all with the team at Hardisty - everyone was brilliant, with special mention to George who we viewed houses with and who handled everything for us with professionalism and positivity! He made the process of buying our first home far less stressful and was generally brilliant when I got frustrated with the solicitors (who were rubbish). George, I'm sorry it's taken me nearly three years to write this, but your help and the level of service you provided was absolutely outstanding. Thank you so much for everything. 3 years in, we love the house and I recommend you and Hardisty to anyone I know looking to move house. Thank you for being brilliant!!

Nicola deserves a medal..! Initially approached BR to let my property but after a number of discussions I decided to sell. Within 12 hours of the property going live I had several viewings and within a week I’d accepted an offer.
A hugely approachable team and company and was always on hand to offer advice and an sympathetic ear.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Dealt with the sale of my mum's property. Fantastic, professional and efficient service, sale went through quickly. Rory was our first point of contact, he completed the property valuation. He was very polite and professional. All the staff in the office at Guiseley were also very friendly and helpful. Thank you for dealing with this for us and if we decide to sell we will definitely be in touch.
