10/10 experience with Lancasters, Daniel has been absolutely amazing - he's given advice where it's been needed, listened to any concerns I've had and overall has been incredible. Straight away he got me in for a viewing and has sorted things out as quickly as possible so i've got a lovely home to move straight into during a really stressful time. Top bloke and goes out of his way to make sure you're happy, definitely recommend!... Read more

Lancasters continue to disappoint me. They don't respond to emails, and give fake promises over the phone. I have been nothing but patient and polite. But it's beyond ridiculous how they have treated me with such disregard as a tenant.

I made a report 6 months ago and absolutely has been done.
There are issues with damp and black mold, blocked plumbing, freezing draughts, leaking roof. Most of which has been reported as far back as 2024.

When I moved into the property they said it would be deep cleaned. It wasn’t. It took a full day of cleaning before moving our belongings because it was absolutely filthy.

After a few months I noticed many poorly done fixes to make the house appear rentable. Alot of things had just been left broken or unusable even though there was plenty of time for it to be fixed beforehand.

I'm extremely disappointed in Lancasters lack of service and professionalism.... I called the penistone branch up 3 times over the past couple of days. There are two properties that I am interested in renting.
Daniel has promised to call me back on each occasion, however, hasn’t bothered.
If you’re a landlord, I wouldn’t recommend putting your house up for rent with this company if you’re actually wanting to get it rented out as they can’t be bothered to ring back potential tenants.
Looking at the other 1 star reviews, it appears I’ve actually dodged a bullet renting from this company.... I would not recommend to anyone. To not even get a reply to emails is unbelievably unprofessional. I would get more response from a brick wall. Absolute no regard for tenants. Very unprofessional.... Read more
