The one-to-one relationship with the agent was really good

We had a mixed experience with Preston Baker. We chose them for their reviews online and at first contact with the Doncaster office they were quick to reply and tried moving our sale along promptly. Then our agent suddenly stopped communicating and when we tried contacting them we found out she had left but no one informed us. This happened a couple of times.
Our house was eventually assigned to Terry Burrows (Leeds office) and she was good to us. She took care of our sale for almost a year until the end, even after two potential buyers dropped off and issues with the house made our sale more complicated.
Sadly by then the market had changed and we weren’t able to sell for the value we had hoped for.
Not sure if I would recommend the Doncaster office. I would recommend Terry for sure. (Terry, if you are reading this thank you for persevering with us and for helping us get a decent price in a difficult selling process)

I think all extra charges should be be told up front before excepting to go with you I’ve learnt a lot

Gemma Duxbury was my liaison at Preston Baker and was excellent. Always replied promptly to my messages. She was great at communicating via all the various parties on my behalf! It was a long slog but we got there in the end! Thanks Gemma

I sold my flat in leeds via Preston Baker and my agent was Gemma Duxbury . I would definitely recommend her, she has done a stellar job! Me being German and not living in the UK, I was happy to have someone with such a great work ethics, she helped wherever possible and always went the little extra mile to get things done. She communicated excellently, and followed up with a high level of ownership ! 5 out of 5 stars, great job, thanks Gemma!

After using a different agent for four months without success, a change to Preston Baker brought several viewings within a few days, leading to an acceptable offer which was accepted.
