I would definitely recommend Williams and Donovan in Hockley. So professional and helpful. I was originally selling a property with another estate agent as well as Williams and Donovan but very quickly realised the difference in service and attention was miles apart and came away from the other one leaving it just with W&D and I'm so glad I did. They were so thorough, keeping me informed at all times, arranging and doing viewings as the property was empty and basically took care of everything for me. So refreshing to find an estate agent getting it right! Definitely one to trust!... Read more

From the initial meeting with Darren to put the house on the market through to Anita with viewings etc and then on to Stephanie. Everyone was great and very professional, always available and always responding to emails or calls, never hiding. We rarely leave reviews but it would be an injustice not to in this case. We made the decision to place our house on the market mid February. Darren at Benfleet branch was our first port of contact, he came out to go through the finer details with us. What a relaxed gent! He put our minds at ease as to the whole process and what to expect going forward. He sang the praises of his work colleagues and to be fair we felt so confident in him that by 25th February our house went live on Rightmove. The viewings were fast and many and all of the staff doing the leg work to show potential purchasers around were professional and respectful of our home, they worked around the 5 of us and our work shift patterns. Anita seemed to be at our house more than we were at one point! Within just over a week our house was sold STC. Onto sales progression and Stephanie now took the lead and what a faultless process. Constantly chasing solicitors and working through the whole chain pushing the sale forward. She was the main point of contact and seemed to be one step ahead of us the whole time, her invaluable knowledge pushed the solicitors forward quickly and efficiently which sped the whole process up. Never did we expect to be in our new home by 6th July and that was with us initially finding a property with an alternate agent which then fell through. We then had to find another property which meant we slowed the process down. Thankfully once we did we were fortunate enough to buy through W&D Hockley branch which again meant Stephanie liased with them directly and taking the stress out of the equation for us. All in all 10/10 for Williams & Donovan from sale to purchase. To anyone reading this review. If you want a stress free sale and up to date information readily available throughout the process we would highly recommend Benfleet Williams & Donovan to do just that! James & Bonita.... Read more
