16th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)From the moment my property went on the market I never heard from Dowen again other than to tell me if I had a viewing. I might aswell have put the house up for sale myself. £1200 for what? Putting it on Rightmove? Photos were terrible, he said he would come back when it was sunny to take some more. Never heard from him... Appalling customer service, no call backs just nothing, no personal touch at all. Would never use again, there are plenty of better local estate agents out there who would take much better care of you for a lot less money.- This agent doesn't have any reviews

15th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Cons : they only checked in after 12 weeks and once when we had a possible viewing. This felt quite poor over 26 weeks. I requested some replacement photos to use alongside a price drop to create some Interest. Advisor quite abrupt and unhappy at the request . Refused/strongly advised this was not necessary even though work had been done to improve the home since original photos taken . Communication was poor with very little contact over a 26 week period. Didn’t see home marketed via Facebook or email shots . Some of the Photos weren’t the best , make sure you really check them before you approve . Pros : Service was quick and effective at point of set up. Staff were otherwise polite and pleasant to deal with . Always returned calls when I rang . Board went up quickly and photographer was quick. Some of the photos were good. House did not sell or even have a viewing within 26 weeks which is unusual in a popular area.
2nd Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)Very impressed with time keeping and overall process. The only small issue was that I asked for no FOR SALE board on the property. One appeared. I asked for it to be removed. After a few days it was taken away, but leaving rawl plugs in the stone wall near the front door.

Whether it be over the telephone or in person nothing has been too much trouble. Charlotte was the main person we have been dealing with and we found her to be courteous, knowledgeable and professional at all times. We would highly recommend Castledene to anyone considering buying or selling a property.

26th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)Great service provided by Phil. Allowed us to view the property multiple times even out of office hours and genuinely wanted what was best for us. Made the entire process especially the moving week really stress free and was really responsive to messages. In the unlikely event we sell up we will definitely be using Bedebrook.

7th Oct 2022 (1 year ago)We tried to buy a commercial site next to our factory in Bishop Auckland, some dodgy dealing and back handers with Chris Farlow must have happened as we offered £750K which was turned down and the site sold for 695K. the purchaser and ourself were in the same position (cash buyers) apparently the previous owner wanted someone who could rent the site...??? We had no other option to rent it and signed a lease for 10years but to this day it baffles me why an agent would sell for less and not try to get the best price for their clients? Can you smell a rat??? Carver will carve your selling price!! do not use them
