30th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Recently purchased a property at auction with Hammer Price Homes. I was a little sceptical first about buying a property via an online auction but was really surprised and happy about how easy it was. I liked the transparency of the auction and felt that it tested what the actual market value of the property was rather than the usual process of placing offers through an estate agent. The additional benefit was that we had time to arrange a mortgage. We had 3 months following the auction to complete and Michael at Hammer Price was great to guide us through the process and answer any questions. We completed 2 weeks ago and have began renovations on our new house last week!

Shari lead our process and was fundamental in making the process as smooth as possible, even when changes occurred or plans changed. Shari worked with both sell & buy side solicitors to speed up the process and make sure everyone was happy.

The communication has been spot on. The valuation was realistic, and in that respect they feel like an ethical agency to work with.

I've had a couple of minor maintenance problems in the first week but that's to be expected and they have had contractors out within 24 hours. Contractors are friendly and also professional. Thank you to all the team. :)

28th Jul 2021 (2 years ago)The reviews for MHL are all good which is why we chose them but our experience wasn’t great. The communication wasn’t the best, we had an offer withdrawn because the buyers weren’t made aware the property was leasehold. The buyers were due to come to see us again on a Sunday, we waited in only to find out that they had withdrawn the offer and told MHL on Saturday but mhl didn’t let us know. Then we had another offer but the buyer wasn’t actually in a position to buy as he didn’t have the funds available straight away for the deposit, but they still tried to push us to accept. In a time when houses in our area are selling very quickly, we didn’t sell ours to a suitable buyer with a couple of months of it being up for sale. Our neighbours put theirs up for sale with another agent and it sold straight away for a similar price.- This agent doesn't have any reviews
3rd Feb 2024 (12 weeks ago)We recently sold our house with Jordan from W and J properties. It was five star service all the way. Excellent contact throughout and regular updates on the sale which went extremely well. We had been in the same house for 40 years and needed to downsize. W and J properties came highly recommended and lived up to their reputation. The price was excellent and the service superb. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company.
