Savills were the letting agent for my property for about 6yrs after being bought by Area Estates. Savills do bare minimum with regards to repairs and maintenance. Camilla Kirby who recently left the company was lovely and made every effort to assist with the limited authority she had, sadly she was replaced by Rachel Bentley who is condescending, rude and quite frankly should not deal with the public in any capacity. Following a S21 notice due to selling before the new landlord rules come into affect in May, they attempted to charge £760 for removal of a fish tank from the loft of property despite it being in the property from the beginning of the tenancy and having no proof it wasn’t. She lied in a reference and stated that it couldn’t be changed as the director had approved it, and when I pressed her saying the reference was factually incorrect she stated “the DWP may be able to assist you with something in writing about your benefits”.... They gave the keys to the then prospective buyer to go to the property unaccompanied. When something was found to be missing from the house it took a letter from my solicitor for them to acknowledge responsibility and pay to replace the missing item. No apology. Extremely poor level of service and rude. Not to mention irresponsible and unprofessional. Basic care and concern fro the security of my property as their client non existant.... Read more

We sold our property through Fine and Country, the process was as smooth as it could be, we feel that the valuation was fair and appropriate to the current housing market. The only minor criticism is that there was a delay in photographs being taken but they were well worth waiting for.
