18th Feb 2025 (5 weeks ago)We used Hamilton smith to both sell my partner's house and purchase our first home together. They were amazing every step of the way. We had an unfortunate experience towards the end due to a solicitor for the end of our chain going somewhat AWOL and James from Hamilton Smith could not have been more patient with our calls and queries and worked incredibly hard as a go-between to get things resolved, nothing was too much for him. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.
21st Jul 2023 (1 year ago)Avoid. Lots of good sales talk with seemingly pleasant agents, but zero delivery. As a property owner, it was Very muddled approach to onboarding a property, with demands that changed with the breeze. Felt like no clear process.
7th Dec 2024 (16 weeks ago)Mr. Colin McKenzie, the Abbotfox Norwich office Branch manager/partner was most helpful to me. He knew the market well and ,quoted me the correct price for the property so I got offers quickly. It was a vacant property for some time and he connected me with an insurance agent that carried insurance on vacant properties, which on my own, I would have never been able to. He was prompt, and took photos of my place in less than 24 hours to expedite the listing of the property. He was diligent and fast, and arranged for the cleaning crew so the property could be shown asap. Later on, there were some obstacles with the gas meter installation etc, he went above and beyond and researched the different suppliers of the gas meters and installation and arranged for them to do the testing. He spent a lot of time on my little property. . He also had a very agile mind and formulated different scenarios and the pros and cons of each action taken, so that I could come to an easy and logical decision. He was very kind and understood my situation and the urgency of selling the property . Even when the buyer had difficult demands, Colin never gave up encouraging me to soldier on, and now today, the sale was completed and I am very happy and grateful to Colin.

26th Feb 2025 (30 days ago)I had an extremely disappointing experience with this Estate Agent. From the start, communication was slow, with long delays in responses. When I finally attended a viewing, the agent’s attitude was shockingly poor—rude, blunt, and completely unhelpful. They seemed reluctant to engage in any conversation, offering minimal information and acting as though my presence was an inconvenience. As someone looking for a place to live, I expect professionalism and at least a basic level of courtesy. Instead, I felt dismissed and unwelcome. If this is how they treat potential tenants/buyers, I dread to think how they handle actual clients. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for a more professional and respectful service.
25th May 2022 (2 years ago)Steve personally over saw from day1 putting brochure together, meeting each prospective buyers at the property. The service we received from One Estates, has been Excellent with nothing being to much trouble. We sold our property within 5 days. ????

They were always professional courteous and nothing was too much trouble. We were regularly updated and they put a lot of time and effort along with patience in the successful sake We highly recommend.

We have been in good faith attempting to engage Ewan to let a commercial property, but in the first instance had a viewing rearranged and then throughout our attempted negotiation process, the service has been horrendous. I have tried to call Ewan who then does not call back and email to which he answers only when he can be bothered. As a result of the insufferable attitude and service from this company we have had to admit defeat despite offering the full asking price on Newlands Street, simply because Ewan and the company are impossible to deal with. If I was a landlord or indeed anyone thinking of using this shambles of a company, I would look elsewhere. Avoid at all costs!

At every stage of the process they were helpful, and went out of their way to build a good relationship between buyers and sellers which worked to everyone's advantage-- especially as in this case the sellers will be our future neighbours. We had very well arranged zoom calls and resolved timing issues to do with stamp duty, moving dates, etc. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and we are very grateful to Sophia and the team.

Mark Hall navigated us through a complex probate sale, and proved to be very effective and completely trustworthy. A man of his word, and an extremely effective and experienced negotiator who I would definitely recommend to any vendor.
2nd Feb 2024 (1 year ago)I really can not fault Exquisite Homes, They did everything perfectly, the brochure for my house was a work of art, it was glossy and made more like a book, in comparison with the tatty photocopied sheets I had from some of the estate agents who were offering houses I was considering buying. Their photographer was amazing and produced fantastic pictures and, it's the pictures that sell the house in the first place. The team who sold my house was amiable and efficient. Even after the sale had been agreed the Exquisite team, chased the solicitors and pushed the sale through, the only thing I had to do was sign the contract. If you do not use Exquisite Homes to sell your home, you only have yourselves to blame.
