29th Jun 2024 (28 days ago)Our experience is from the Rental Agency part of this business. From our perspective I really hope they train their staff better. Our experience was not good. Most/all of the problems were avoidable and reflected either a lack for training or a careless approach to the legitimate needs of their tenant. At this time the Landlord, no matter how bad they behave, is king. We won't be coming back as a customer (either in a rental or purchasing form). It would be nice if they would learn from this experience. We did!!!! In our case the training cost us hard cash!!!

30th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)I believe that we can all agree that the process of relocating and finding a new place to call home is stressful, time-consuming and tiring. But fortunately, it doesn't always have to be that way. Especially when you are being guided by a skilled Estate Agent. My experience with finding and securing a home that met my wants, needs, and everything in between through this company has been excellent, and I cannot thank Abigail Clark (aka Abbie) enough for her time and assistance from start to finish. Abbie is a consummate professional and has been a pleasure to work with. I personally admire how passionate she is about developing her craft and skills to provide the best service possible, and I would recommend her to anyone seeking to find the perfect place to call home. Cheers :)

Any queries were answered quickly, either by phone or email. Updated review: We recently used YourMove to sell my late father’s home. Elliot, Amelia and Karen are fantastic. The whole process was just as efficient as when I purchased my home through them. Highly recommended ????

From my initial contact, they have relentlessly kept great communication in what is a difficult market, to find our "forever house". Tom and Edward's experience is second to none. If we are ever in the market for another house (hopefully not, as my wife has promised), I would have no hesitation in calling Savills......10/10

As a point of contact for purchase of a new build they were professional, courteous and prompt throughout. Always on hand to discuss and advise on the foibles of our sale, and how these could be addressed to ensure a successful purchase. 28th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)Advertised and sold within a week, second viewing. We then couldn’t find anything that met our needs and the sale dragged on. Started in July and we have just moved this week. The driving force behind the team in our experience is without doubt Jake. He has kept us updated and buoyed up throughout this stressful process, and even when he had his new family addition we felt supported. He is a well balanced and likeable man who with great patience got the job done. A credit to his profession.Of course he is supported by the rest of the staff who all appear to be to be aware of what is going on whenever called upon. Thanks to all.
24th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)I'm not surprised that Whitakers are highly rated because their customer service is spot on. We viewed a property that required a lot of work, and we were lucky enough to have Angie show us around. Angie was fantastic; she left us to it and answered any questions we had. I loved the property and believed I could turn that house into a home. As first-time buyers, we wanted to view the property again. Since the house wasn't cheap, we wanted to ensure we could afford the renovation costs. We booked a second viewing. At this point, nothing could have deterred me from putting in an offer, not even advice from family and friends. During our second viewing, the agent spent the first five minutes talking about their personal life and circumstances. When she finished, she reminded us that we had only 10 minutes left. Throughout the viewing, she followed us into every room, continuously reminding us of the time limit (I've never known any estate agents in Hull to have a 15-minute viewing limit and to remind us every minute). This created such a poor experience as we couldn't fully examine the property. We felt under pressure. The agent also mentioned that she disliked when buyers took their time and that previous buyers would linger. Then her husband called to remind her that she had only two minutes left, so we had to wrap things up. The reason for the 15-minute limit was that they needed time to get to their next viewing. The agent also complained about fuel costs and staff expenses, which seemed irrelevant to our viewing. My partner's father took the day off work to see the house but got stuck in traffic (Hull A63 was closed, causing gridlock). It took him 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive, and when he did, we were told to book another viewing. There were many ways to handle the situation better: the husband could have gone to the next viewing while the agent stayed with us, they could have given us an extra five minutes for my partner’s father, or they could have left us the keys since the house was vacant. The people who showed us around were Mr. & Mrs. Whitakers. This experience ultimately deterred me from making an offer. If I could contact the vendor directly, I certainly would. If you were short-staffed, it would have been better to cancel my viewing and rebook it for a different date. Overall, I've had no problems with the staff, and I think they are absolutely brilliant (hence the two stars and not one). However, the owners should practice what they preach. You wouldn't expect your employees to deliver such a service, so why should you? Whitakers did call us to apologise and to book another viewing; however, this has left a bad taste in our mouths. The staff shouldn't be apologising; it should be the owners.

I have had prompt feedback from all viewings which is really helpful as a seller. I cannot single any one individual out from the team as they have all been excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to friends.
30th May 2024 (8 weeks ago)Wanted to rent a property, the landlord used this company. Soon as an historic IVA was mentioned this company black listed us. Refusal to help, understand. Made us feel dirty, or not good enough, when we could more than prove we’ve been good tenants and good more than afford the house. Killed a dream.
4th Jun 2024 (8 weeks ago)I have found Beercocks Estate agents to be very efficient and helpful. I haven't sold a house before so felt supported and well advised by the team. I would recommend them. Sold the house very quickly. Just need the sold sign on the post now.

We were fully kept up to date by James and Lisa of the sale and were a massive support with the full purchase chain. Without Lisa I don’t think the sale and our onward purchase would have completed. 22nd May 2024 (9 weeks ago)Very unprofessional, we had a house viewing, and the agent didn't come and didn't tell the home owner we were going .we rang them to find out if they were coming, no answer . to the reply below my comment . You didn't send me an email or rang me, and if the seller did accept an offer on the house, tell me instead of saying to my make another viewing. So stop talking rubbish!!!
