1st Oct 2024 (24 weeks ago)From the first contact over the phone to the viewings and subsequent sale of the property to myself, Rachel and the whole team at F&C have been amazing to deal with and professionally excellent. Rachel was understanding of my position as a buyer and really relaid that the vendors which lead to the acceptance of offer that all parties are very happy with. It has been a great example of how to deal with both parties involved equally to maximise the outcome for both. Couldn’t recommend enough!
13th Oct 2024 (23 weeks ago)Went down modern auction route. No bidders and found Iamsold personnel rude and pushy. Came out of contract with Iamsold and sold property privately within 4 days for our asking price.
7th Oct 2024 (23 weeks ago)Elliot, Karen, Amelia and Gracie have all been super helpful and efficient during the sale of my house. Always responsive which is very important during the sale and buying process. I have now bought and sold through them, so have seen it from both ends. Lets just say, I can't see myself going elsewhere in the future.
21st Feb 2025 (27 days ago)From start to finish there was a great feel to the agents I’ve dealt with. The property sold within a week for the full asking price. Communication has been great & the whole experience relatively stress free this far.

5th Feb 2025 (6 weeks ago)Recently purchased a property through this branch of Screetons and had really disappointing service. From the start they didn’t seem motivated to sell the property at all and handled the offer process very poorly. The offer hadn’t even been put forward (was later accepted so was reasonable), we had to chase for this to be put to the vendor and then chase for a response. They then gave numerous false information down the line presumably to keep the purchase going and would answer questions about the property when they didn’t know the true answer - one being in relation to a gas appliance which is a safety aspect. I’d asked them to listen to their calls as it was unfair to be working this way and they responded that they aren’t recorded so I would assume that they choose to be deceiving quite often. At no point was any responsibility taken, they simply say ‘it is what it is.’ They were aware that a lone and older gentlemen was moving into the property a week before Christmas and these lies had an adverse effect on him which is far from decent nevermind a provided service. Nobody bothered with the keys being handed over - they didn’t even chase the solicitors, they just ‘wondered’ when they’d be released… despite them being ready to go. The staff here are either slack, careless or conniving in our experience. We wouldn’t ever buy or sell through this agent again but I would hate for someone else to have such a bad experience using them.

14th Aug 2024 (7 mo. ago)Still waiting for them to sort our shower after more than two months. We only have 1 bathroom in the house with a shower, so we are unable to wash ourselves. Horrible company, horrible experience.
18th Feb 2025 (30 days ago)I found Ian at Bannisters extremely helpful and professional. I was pleased with the valuation and achieved a sale very close to expectations. Mathew’s photos and video were excellent and resulted in numerous viewings. Almost every viewing would have resulted in a sale had the couples been able to sell their current house.

The advice , knowledge, experience and regular weekly updates of Sue and the team at Leonard’s Holderness Road office allowed us a quick, uncomplicated and smooth sale of our parents home in Beverley. I would certainly never use anyone else, and , I would highly recommended to anyone else looking at selling their property in the surrounding areas. Once again Thankyou.

24th May 2022 (2 years ago)After an extremely traumatic and abrasive move back to Hull from Ireland after 13 years I found a property on Poppy residential. Being in between jobs and lacking some original documentation (that was in Dublin) the staff were extremely empathetic and helpful. I can say that after building a rapport with Amy (an employee) she went well above and beyond her duties to ensure that I secured the apartment. This young lady is an asset to the company and all staff I dealt with were pleasurable. I’ve no doubt other companies would’ve turned me away and I’d be couch surfing by now. Well done to Amy and staff. Dan

He knew the intricacies of the property inside out, which was so refreshing. If only he could show me around every property—highly recommend!

All communication is very prompt, timely and professional and I have been kept updated every step of the way. What I particularly like is the personal touch from Oscars. Their local knowledge is second to none, and I very much feel they’re selling our home, not just a house!
3rd Mar 2025 (17 days ago)I found Wigwam Estate Agents staff to be very professional. They were very helpful. I have left everything in their hands which takes the pressure of off my shoulders. this helps because I am moving up to Newcastle and I can concentrate on finding a property.

6th Dec 2024 (15 weeks ago)We sold our property with Rezee recently. The whole team are very helpful and marketed our house promptly and with super photos. We received an offer within a few weeks which we accepted. From then it was 6 weeks and 2 days to completion and I handed over the keys to the new owner. Thankyou Rezee.
31st Jul 2024 (7 mo. ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

He took care of the viewings for us, gave us good advice and marketed our property extremely well- so much so that it sold within a month. The admin support at Riverside were equally helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Riverside.
