25th Oct 2019 (6 years ago)At first all was ok then when work had to be done to property the owner of Dixons sent her husband to do the work and it was poor. When we were leaving they rushed us out. Even though we paid rent on time and kept the flat very clean to the highest standard. During last winter we waited weeks for the boiler to be fixed. They held on to our deposit and now have to go to court.
21st Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)I strongly advise landlords to be extremely cautious when dealing with Fair Links Estate Agents. My experience has been deeply disappointing and has resulted in significant financial loss. The company Directors, Ali Muhammad and Arif Muhammad, were friends with the tenant and looked at his interest rather than the Landlords. Throughout the tenancy, my concerns and formal complaints were repeatedly ignored. Communication was poor, emails and letters went unanswered, and I felt that issues were consistently avoided rather than resolved. The tenant Mir Ikhlaq was placed in my property, which fell into substantial arrears—over £30,000—yet despite the agent being fully aware of the outstanding amount, the deposit was released without my consent. This goes against the expectations of transparency and proper procedure under the government?approved deposit protection schemes. When the tenants were finally evicted, the property was left in an unacceptable condition, including hygiene issues and evidence of pests. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fair Links Estate Agents to any landlord. I would urge others to proceed with caution and ensure they have robust safeguards in place before entrusting their property to this agency.

25th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)What a disgusting service. We went in their SWF office, looking for a 2 bed property to rent. The lady in there gave us a load of useless waffle, then told us the property we wanted had already gone. She promised to let us know is anything else became available. A week later we saw that the property was still available, but no one had bothered to let us know. We rang them and got a viewing. An hour before our viewing County Estates called us and said the property was gone. She told us that it was first come first served, although no one told us that. What a joke company, with no communication skills. Avoid them like the plague.

No ownership taken by any member of staff when enquiring about completing standard land lord/letting agency jobs where property maintenance is required to maintain a safe living environment.- 2nd Mar 2021 (5 years ago)Excellent turn around and very competitive prices. The staff are well mannered and are happy to awnser a variety of queries.

18th Dec 2025 (8 mo. ago)This agency gives me rather dubious vibes. There are no Google reviews, and the only review I’ve been able to find mirrors my experience exactly. We have been attempting to arrange a viewing for over a week. When they eventually responded, it was via a late-evening text message suggesting a Sunday viewing at a very specific time, with no alternative offered. I’ve never previously encountered Sunday viewings, but more concerning was the complete lack of flexibility or willingness to accommodate. As a prospective buyer, this has been enough to put me off the property altogether, as I can only assume the process would be equally difficult further down the line.

7th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)I am so impressed with the service from Epps Estates. It has been a while since I have been blown away by an estate agents dedication and professionalism. We could only view on Sundays which they were happy to accommodate two weekends running and they genuinely care about our property search. I have been trying to view with number of other estate agents whilst trying to find my next home and have to say the experience with most of them has been frustrating to say the least. Epps Estates have been amazing and Jimi from the sales team is definitely someone I would recommend to anyone searching for a new property.
