30th Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)My experience with Rise has been nothing short of dreadful. From the very beginning of our tenancy, dealing with Rise was a constant struggle. They were difficult to reach, rarely picked up the phone, and often seemed completely uninformed about the status of issues we raised. It became increasingly unclear what anyone at Rise actually did, as they consistently failed to communicate or provide any support. Maureen, who was supposedly responsible for property issues, often seemed completely out of the loop. During our tenancy, it was common to be redirected to different people, none of whom had any real information about our concerns or seemed able to offer solutions. This disorganization was particularly evident when we tried to resolve discrepancies with our deposit. Other team members continually told us to contact Paddy, yet none of them could provide any assistance themselves. Paddy, in turn, was often condescending and dismissive, making the entire process feel unnecessarily antagonistic. I found myself sending more than double the emails we received in return, just to get basic responses on matters that should have been straightforward. Overall, I would strongly recommend that students look elsewhere for housing options. In the year prior we had a great experience with Loc8me. Although they may charge slightly more for some properties, the responsiveness, professionalism, and care their staff provide is worlds apart from what we experienced with Rise. Our time with Rise felt like a lesson in poor property management, and I would advise others to avoid them if they’re looking for a smooth rental experience.

All of the viewing have been done, the offers collated and we have received email and telephone communication throughout the process. 26th Oct 2024 (7 weeks ago)2 viewings one offer £40000 below asking price which was set by agent as realistic then they said it was probably too high. Also I take offence to their Facebook posts that state everything they touch turns to sold! When clearly it does not.

3rd Jul 2024 (23 weeks ago)They are a very friendly,helpful team,however at times their communication was poor .I was going to remove my home off the market as it had been on for several weeks.Another agent valued it as a bit higher it in the end Hegartys did sell it for me.

26th May 2024 (6 mo. ago)Despite the property being very unique the valuation was based on as much well researched information as they could manage. Marketing was done well with excellent photos and a photographic 3d walk around. They also managed to arrange marketing in the local paper. Helped negotiate a good selling price higher than the asking price. Property has been sold within 5 weeks of marketing. Friendly and informative staff. Despite speaking to different staff the computer notes were well done meaning we were always well informed. I’d recommend this company.

They are both professional & personable, which is not always the case with estate agents & I've been very impressed with their communication & the rapidity with which they carry out all the relevant tasks. The only slight criticism I would have relates to the photographs of the property which I feel could be more appealing but this is probably quite pedantic of me! I have other properties, one of which I plan to sell next year &, providing all goes well with my current sale, I will list the next property with Ryan James' agency also.

They’re a fantastic bunch of professionals who deliver the best service and offer us continuous support and guidance throughout the entire process

I had a discussion with Craig who went through my criteria in far greater depth than anyone else had as there is a general feeling at times agents want to chase you out the door as are too busy to chat. within 14 days of a my initial discussion, and a few properties offered that weren't quite suitable for me I was offered one that was perfect that I bought. Great after service from Cath too. much appreciated. cannot recommend enough based on my experience.
5th Jul 2024 (23 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
20th May 2024 (6 mo. ago)BP Auctions have been anything BUT easy to work with. We’ve been chasing for updates on the sale of our property for weeks with no response. Every time we manage to speak to someone on the phone, we’re promised a call back that never happens. No one responds via email, and the whole process has been painfully slow from start to finish.
