6th Apr 2024 (21 days ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

9th May 2023 (11 mo. ago)Really fantastic support throughout the process from Kenny and the team. My house sat on the market for a year until we moved to Re/max and sold within 3 weeks. Kenny walked in and immediately recognised the potential and uniqueness of the property which reignited my hope in finding a buyer - and we did almost immediately. He was also very sensitive to every element of the journey to the sale of this property which I appreciated. To add, we also went with their recommended legal partners, who also provided a fantastic service. Can't recommend this team enough! Amazing service! Thanks for all your help and support!

12th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)We used S&P successfully 7 years ago to sell our previous flat so decided to use them again. David Law was professional, engaging, and has excellent local knowledge. He was also realistic which we found most reassuring. We were then introduced to Ian Ely-Corbett who went out of his way to make the process of selling our home stress free and run as smoothly as possible. He was easy to contact by email or phone or text. We would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property. What made the difference was S&P’s personal service and attention to detail.
10th Apr 2023 (1 year ago)This company is the epitome of why estate agents are regarded as one of the least trustworthy industries in the UK. Whilst purchasing my home , they failed to disclose relevant information available to them regarding a massive construction scheme in adjacent land to my home, despite being fully aware of it. The buyer of a close-by property which was sold two months previously by Gavin Brown of SBS, who was also the agent acting in the sale of my home, was made fully aware of the construction project as it benefitted that particular property, in fact, it was highlighted in the sales brochure. I am presently surrounded by a 3 year long building site, with the prospect of being surrounded and overlooked by 5no. 55m high pylon towers upon completion. The Property Enquiry Certificate, from Millar and Bryce, requested by SBS also fails to disclose this information, despite Millar and Bryce also being fully aware of the project. In short, be very wary when purchasing property through this company in the Argyll and Bute area, as there are several major infrastructure project proposals which could adversely affect the enjoyment of your new home, sold to you by these, charlatan tramps. I await to be proved wrong.The fact this review remains unchallenged, speaks volumes, this poor excuse for an estate agent need closing down.

8th Nov 2018 (5 years ago)A disappointing experience. Contacting our solcitor was difficult and they often took weeks to respond to queries. Requests for advice went unanswered and we often had no clue where we were in the purchase process. 24th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)What an amazing service from start to finish from both Jennifer, Andrew and Janice. For anyone who wants a simple, and efficient estate agent look no further. Our house went up on the market the week of Christmas when most estate agents close. Not Avenue Road. They made sure that everything still processed as normal and our house went up within days to ensure we were able to reserve our new home. The whole process was easy with them and made it very simple and straight forward for us. Andrew was always on hand for us regarding any viewings and interest. Jennifer was giving us regular updates and keeping us in the loop. One thing I would say which stands them out from the crowd is they are always on hand. For example we had a request at 10pm on a Saturday night for a viewing which we were delighted about. Within minutes we had it booked. You won’t get that 24/7 service anywhere else. At the very start we had a few estate agents come to negotiate with us but felt like a number with them and just another tick box. With Jennifer and Andrew we were a family looking to sell and move to our forever home and they wanted it for us. I could go on and on about how amazing they were and so grateful for them. I have recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. Thank you again and always welcome for a cuppa in our new home.
20th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)We chose James Agent to sell our property over other more established agents in our area because we felt they offered a fresh perspective, their fees are very reasonable however they don’t compromise on service. Our property sold very quickly despite the atrocious weather and going on the market on Christmas Eve Donald was professional and contact was excellent- we would highly recommend James Agent
