14th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.

9th May 2023 (1 year ago)Really fantastic support throughout the process from Kenny and the team. My house sat on the market for a year until we moved to Re/max and sold within 3 weeks. Kenny walked in and immediately recognised the potential and uniqueness of the property which reignited my hope in finding a buyer - and we did almost immediately. He was also very sensitive to every element of the journey to the sale of this property which I appreciated. To add, we also went with their recommended legal partners, who also provided a fantastic service. Can't recommend this team enough! Amazing service! 9th Aug 2024 (9 weeks ago)Completely inactive. I had to chase them constantly. Calls not returned, forms not posted. They took so long that eventually my mum's capacity to agree to the PoA came into question and I was made to jump through hoops with my mums GP to protect THEIR license. Go somewhere else. addendum: Please don't hide behind the law society. This only became an issue because you took so long and needed constant chasing.

8th Nov 2018 (5 years ago)A disappointing experience. Contacting our solcitor was difficult and they often took weeks to respond to queries. Requests for advice went unanswered and we often had no clue where we were in the purchase process. As a result, we wouldn't recommend them and won't be using them in future.- 15th Feb 2024 (7 mo. ago)We're selling our house through Hastings, so far so good - but nothing is sold until the money is in the bank....

Our property sold very quickly despite the atrocious weather and going on the market on Christmas Eve Donald was professional and contact was excellent- we would highly recommend James Agent

5th Jul 2024 (14 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
