21st Oct 2019 (5 years ago)Haart Stopsley were really good even though they were more expensive than other localling agents. My agent Brian at the branch was extremely helpful, making sure he always replied to any queries or questions promptly and efficiently.
11th May 2023 (1 year ago)We have recently found a property to rent via Jackson Stops and the service we have received from Simon Roberts has been second to none, Simon is very professional and engaging. From the first meet, to the handling of paperwork, the process has been effortless and stress free, We have both struggled with estate agents in the past and dreaded the whole process, however Simon has been amazing and completely changed our perception, he carried out the whole process from start to finish in a professional, highly knowledgeable manner with nothing ever being too much to ask. Simon had vast knowledgeable on the property we were viewing and knew the local area very well. We thought that all of the marketing from Jackson Stops had been prepared to a very high standard and much better than anything else we had seen produced other agents. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured into making any decisions, we felt we had the perfect amount of time to view the house, think about the property & even go back for a second viewing without the worry of it being snatched away, Simon gave us the reassurance we needed. Every telephone call was answered by the team in the office, every message has been passed on and every phone call has been returned without fail, Simon kept us informed throughout the process answering our questions and queries efficiently and accurately. Would highly recommend Jackson Stops, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Simon Roberts Harley & Paul.

27th Sep 2023 (1 year ago)First Step used to be the go to agents in the local area, they seemed honest and transparent. From my experience this is a thing of the best with them. There are many agents in the local area now who are much better then First Step, they will look after you and are much more sincere. My advice would be, dont just go with them, give all the others the same opportunity, remember First Step excel in talking the talk, but once your signed in, they dont walk the walk. Think is all I advise anyone.
21st Sep 2023 (1 year ago)We initially engaged with Taylor’s when we saw a house they had advertised on Zoopla. We met with Connor, Molly and Chris who all helped us through the purchase of our new property. If it wasn’t for them, we would not have managed to exchange and complete so so quickly. They were always really helpful with the hundreds of questions that we had (being first time buyers). Definitely recommend.

15th Aug 2024 (10 weeks ago)Had a wonderful experience with the Haart sales team in Stevenage with the sale of our house. Would highly recommend the team who work great together and get results! Adam Smith, Andrew Rogers, Marley Hamilton and Gemma Allen. Called three agents to get valuations. The person you first speak to at any business sets the tone and Marley set the tone perfectly from my initial call, asked all the right questions at this initial stage, knew the local market and had direct comparables to hand and was very personable. I was pretty much sold at this point! Andrew valued the property and again set himself apart from the other agents we invited in. Direct, professional approach with relevant comparable properties recently sold in the area. He could back his valuation which was higher then the other agents, and was very clear on the marketing strategy and approach that he and the team use to get the best results for the vendor. I knew they were the right agency for us! Once we gave them the instruction to market the property the machine started moving. Photos were taken, the property went live on all the portals within days, the team previewed the property and had viewings lined up immediately. The perfect offer was received within five days of marketing which we accepted. During the conveyancing process Adam kept the momentum going and really pushed for the exchange and completion within the time frames we had initially given. The purchasers conveyancing team was a little slow at times but Adam kept the line of communication open and got it across the line. I want to say a massive thank you to the Haart team in Stevenage…. We can now move on to our dream home and for that we are very grateful! If you have a property to sell in the area this is the agency you should use!
2nd Mar 2019 (5 years ago)As an estate agent they have been really good property sold in two weeks and they helped with everything along the way. They are friendly helpful and offer good advice. I would say though the conveyancing is not worth the extra money nearly £2000 more than most the others and have not done anything spectacular to justify that additional cost.

26th Jun 2021 (3 years ago)If you are selling your house in the Arlesey area, in my opinion, you would be mad not to use Gothic Estates. They not only have the lowest fees they give by far the best service of any estate agent I have ever bought or sold with. I never had to chase them once for information, they were always keeping us up to date throughout the process. I can honestly say if it were not for them chasing solicitors up and down our chain there is either a good chance our chain would have fallen apart or we would have moved many, many, weeks later than we did. From great pragmatic advice to open and honest conversations it has been a pleasure to work with Gothic Estates throughout the process they are an example to the industry and a rare gem.
