12th Oct 2024 (7 weeks ago)It was an unfortunate start and things did go wrong but luckily we eventually sold the house for a reasonable price thanks to lots of help from Savills who stayed with us. It got very stressful at times because of delays etc. Would recommend this company of course.

13th Oct 2024 (7 weeks ago)We would highly recommend Country Properties, Shefford, to anyone looking to sell their home. The whole process was exceptionally well managed from our initial sale, right through to our exchange of contracts. The whole Country Properties team were polite and informative when we called and always followed through on calls backs and actions as promise. Steph and the team were instrumental in keeping our chain informed and worked tirelessly to move the chain forwards. Steph and her team made such an impact on our chain that others in the chain commented on their excellent service and hard work! Moving house is never easy, but I can honestly say that the support we received from Country Properties got us through the process and we are extremely grateful. Country Properties and the whole team were by far the best estate agent we have ever used and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

From appreciating our home, to a sensible valuation, putting in place a strategy to sell the property and following through on what they said they would do. The quotation was good value for money and they have all been lovely to us as well.

Our estate agent James was so helpful and communicative, keeping up good contact with us and answering all our many questions. He gave lots of very solid advice, and kindly accompanied us on numerous visits to the property and arranged tradesmen visits too as there was a lot of work to be done. We experienced nothing but efficiency and courteous manners from Country Properties, and would highly recommend them. Should the time come for us to move on and sell our home, we will definitely be seeking them out again.
18th Sep 2024 (11 weeks ago)We spoke to a lot of estate agents in Hitchin regarding our house sale before ultimately deciding on David and his team. We are extremely happy with our decision. Putterill's did a great job of marketing our house, keeping us informed and getting us the right buyer. We had originally planned on selling our house to purchase a new build in Hitchin. We subsequently changed our mind and went with a different house. This dragged out the process (our doing) but the team were very understanding and patient. Shirley in the office was a delight and Abigail in the sales progression team did a great job in finally getting us across the line (despite lots of hurdles thrown our way at the end). We will for sure be recommending Putterill's and wish everyone there all the best.

20th Oct 2024 (6 weeks ago)Tried to book a viewing for a house we thought may be a good fit for us… very surprised by the negative language used in response to my enquiry when calling. They suggested right off the bat it wasn’t suitable - even having no idea on my current situation. Obviously they have no interest in doing any work to sell their houses, or even the sales acumen to pick up my own property for their portfolio, and tbh, even borderline offensive asking me if ‘i could even afford it’ ?! Seriously. If you have a property that needs actually someone to help sell it, and not a house that ‘will sell itself’ I’d steer clear.

I had seen a few properties with Indigo until i came across my dream buy. In a known location with everything I wanted - the process was long but I was kept up to date with all progress. As a first time home owner Michelle answered all my queries and advised me so well, she was always a phone call or email away. The team have been great I received first class service and Result!!! Will be moving in soon and super excited.

Their professionalism, service, attentiveness, responsiveness and attention to detail is more than I ever thought I'd get from them as letting agents. They put in effort with viewings and found a great tenant for my house. I'd advise any landlord going with them. There is a reason why they have the best Google reviews of any lettings agent in Stevenage!
