8th Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)This branch of Shaw Oldham is truly disgusting. Because I made offer for a 3 bedroom semi-detached house and they said will me inform within 2 days if the offer is accepted or not. But after 2 days I call them and they told me that the property is sold, I am really surprised I told them I am waiting for the reply but now you telling me that the house is sold. this branch are really unprofessional and they play with the people.
27th Aug 2024 (22 days ago)The staff were not very approachable and seemed unwilling to engage when I had questions. Their attitude came across as dismissive, making it difficult to communicate or feel heard.
6th Sep 2024 (12 days ago)We contacted cousin to view a local property of interest. We arranged a viewing and respectfully completed the application form. We submitted the form and diligently followed up with phone calls and messages every other day for updates. We were informed that the application had been forwarded to the landlord, and we patiently awaited his decision for confirmation. Unfortunately, two weeks later, we were notified of an error on the form which was just an Excuse. We promptly rectified the error by refilling and resubmitting the form. Regrettably, we learned the following day that the property had been rented out. If you did not just say we will update you with an update and told us of the said error this could have been corrected 2 weeks ago to stand a chance in getting the property thanks again

4th Apr 2024 (24 weeks ago)Just drove 30 miles through traffic to get to meet them as arranged for 5 30 ,my wife drove not quiet as far around 22 miles got there bang on time to meet my wife at the property waited till 5 55 got a text off Lydia to see if I'm still attending the viewing I texted back to say I've been hear since 5 30 as you arranged don't no were to park my wife as had a argument with a resident as we was in her parking space (not a great start ) but there was no one to meet us there to tell us anything anyway it got to just after six and I tried the buzzer on 31 the loom and the guy there was renting and said no one had rang him to arrange a viewing and the place was a bit of a mess so I would have to go back to mai son has

From the beginning through to completion they did everything in their power to make the process as quick and as efficient as possible. From conveying our love of the property to the seller to help us secure the best price, to chasing our solicitors for updates, the team at Ryder & Dutton are fantastic, efficient and friendly. A special mention to Catherine Sailsbury for always being so approachable, kind and responsive. You really made the whole process all the more exciting and enjoyable, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts from both of us.

From the first meeting with Paul to an offer, negotiation and acceptance, the team at Hunters, particularly Nicole, were helpful and patient. They updated us on progress weekly and Nicole was always available to answer any questions I had. I would definitely recommend.

18th Mar 2024 (5 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

10th Sep 2024 (8 days ago)Just been to see a “must see”, massively overvalued property, it was in a shocking condition, didn’t meet the description, the estate agent said they only got the keys this morning- so how did they value it? Badly, not worth anything near the ridiculous £320k they want for a building they’ve never seen. Worst case of breach of advertising standards I’ve seen in a long time. What you can’t see is it absolutely stinks. Avoid.
