I have recently needed to arrange a long term rental property from overseas and Susan spokes made everything so easy for me she was on hand and in touch with me every step of the way. It was a breeze!! Another girl Vicki also was helping me with the paperwork and she was fantastic. There very professional and really are lovely people thank you so much for making it so easy for me.

I’d never rented a house out before so trusted Reeds Rains draw up a suitable contract in my best interests, as I was immigrating.
Turns out the tenant they advised me to accept was a personal friend of one of the branches employees and they signed the tenant up to a 12 month no break contact, which basically meant he could pay no rent whatsoever and there was noting I could do about it until the end of his lease. I have since talked to other agencies and they couldn’t believe they offered a tenant this contract. I was sending Reeds Rains 7-10 emails a week asking what was going on and was lucky if I received 1 reply.
Eventually I had to give up my dream life in Canada as someone living in my UK house rent free was costing me a fortune.
I’ve now used another agency to find me a tenant with no issues, but have never received a single penny of the outstanding rent.
I have been a tentant with a landlord who uses Bridgfords to manage their property for 4 years now. I have an assigned property manager, Sarah Foster who works for the Property Management Team, and she always makes sure that any repairs are completed by contractors promptly and professionally, she is always on hand to contact with regards to any issues and will go out of her way to help me with any questions or requests I may have. Would highly recommend ????

From first contact, the valuation, photography, brochure preparation, first viewing and receipt of an offer for full asking price took less than 3 weeks. Sales Manager Rachel Smiles was especially helpful in giving advice on content of the sales brochure and her friendly staff in arranging the 2 viewings by first interested party. We would highly recommend this agency to value and sell your property quickly at its true market value.

Communication etc was fine. There were some delays but this was due to the buyer rather than Elopa. I do wish I had asked more about the 'optional fee' as it isnt optional as first described - if the buyer wont pay the seller has to pay. If I had known, I could have saved few hundred ££s with a different agent. Possibly recommend but depends on house price/circumstances.
What's not to like? Excellent professional and friendly service provided by the whole Ben Charles team. We purchased a flat through Ben Charles eight years ago which was a very smooth stress free process managed by Emma with Rachael and Ben providing excellent financial services. Nigel, Gill and Alison on the letting side have efficiently found tenants for our properties on a number of occasions each time the process has been smooth and slick. Rachael has arranged Mortgages and renewed mortgage deals and arranged house insurance many times to our complete delight. They also make great coffee. We wouldn't go anywhere else for property services.
Had Ben for a viewing today. Was told ‘I’m not a surveyor’ and ‘I work for the client (seller)’ when I flagged up issues with the property including obvious damp. I’m no surveyor either but I’m also no idiot and when I see clear issues with a property like any lay person would, I expect the people selling the property to know about them and be honest about them. Buyers are not idiots. But then you do only work for the seller or so it seems.

Don’t bother to let you know if something has happened with rent payments and leave it for a further 6 months before landing that you owe money not just a little money ALOT then expect you to pull it out like it’s nothing then serve you with a eviction because your now In dire straights through not having the money to have over like that!!! Considering I’ve been a few tenant for almost 8 years reported a problem on EVERY 6 MONTH HOUSE CHECK and not just little things either major problems that have now impacted on my health and been treat like a animal sorry animals get treat better to be honest !!! Disgusting service haven’t a clue or interest in tenants safety I’ve waited 8 years now for a carbon monoxide detector and STILL WAITING !!! Avoid this company because all they are interested in is taking your money and when there’s a problem that only involves MONEY THEYLL THEN ACT FAST ON !!! your loyalty to them means absolutely nothing !!!! GO ELSEWHERE AND MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUT THE COMPANY THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING THEM TO RENT FROM
