3rd Sep 2023 (1 year ago)I cannot rate Hilton King and Locke highly enough, particularly Jenny Hall (Head of Lettings). From my first contact with Jenny, she has gone above and beyond to find a wonderful home for my wife and I to rent. Unlike many of the other estate agents I had spent weeks trying to contact to arrange viewings, Jenny got back to me almost immediately and booked me into to see two properties at short notice – the first of which we loved and ultimately rented. This was particularly helpful because my wife and I had only a short amount of time to find a property to rent and were returning from having lived overseas for two years. Jenny was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and transparent which was also very reassuring for me as a tenet. Once we moved into the property, Jenny and the entire Hilton Locke and King team have been fantastic in resolving a few teething problems which are an inevitable part of renting any property. Not only did Jenny work tirelessly to coordinate between us and the landlord but she also intervened with several third parties to help get our issue resolved. The issues were dealt with promptly and with great sensitivity and care. More than that, Jenny was incredibly personable with my wife, to the extent that she went as far as to buy my wife flowers – something which was incredibly appreciated as we waited for an issue to be resolved. I really cannot rate Hilton Locke and King highly enough. Having previously had some bad experiences renting, I never thought that I would be writing such a positive review for an estate agent. If you are looking for a property to rent in and around the Langley area as we were, however, Hilton Locke and King come strongly recommended.

16th Aug 2024 (28 days ago)As a longer term client of Frost Partnership I would like to commend the excellent professionalism and services received from Lizzie Walsh and Caroline Scott. Lizzie was extremely helpful when I bought 7 Europa House. Caroline was outstanding in finding and renewing tenants at two properties at Europa House. She has been always proactive to look after the needs of both the landlord and tenants. To give an example, when we were on holiday she sorted a maintenance problem at 8 Europa House which was beyond the terms of the tenancy agreement. She is a star.m

If ever I called and Victoria was out-of-the-office, one of the team (Emily, Alison, Steve, etc) were always able to answer my question or report back to me shortly afterwards. A very capable Estate Agency with great staff, very capable and professional. Well done & thank you for making our sale as easy as it could be!
5th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)Having worked with multiple estate agents to get my flat sold, I was very happy with B Simmons in Langley. Rather than convince me that I should be selling at a lower price after months of no interest or updates (like other estate agents) B Simmons gained interest within the first 1-2 weeks of my flat being listed (thanks to Ben Wealands who understood the value and quality of our property and that the economic timing was simply bad previously with new mortgage fluctuations). Once we received interest, Emily Roy really helped stick to a reasonable sale price despite receiving some insulting haggling/ counter offers which was really appreciated. She picked up the phone whenever I called (Or Debbie and Ben would answer if she was out of office) and answered any questions I had. If unsure she would always advise me on how to find out. Furthermore the solicitors B Simmons recommended to us were very quick and efficient. We had been informed by several solicitors that it can take up to 6 months for a flat completion to go through - we had this happen within about 2-3 months!

Would recommend for anyone looking in the area to go with Alpha, just a shame there is no physical location available.

23rd Aug 2024 (21 days ago)R Whitley & Co were the agents for the sellers of the house we bought. They are an awesome agency. We were looking in the area they work in so we crossed paths more than once during our house search. a shout out to mary-joy who was accommodating and answered all our queries and followed up on things for us when we were most picky, and a special thank you from the heart to tony. tony was following up with our solicitor to make sure things are done on time and called to check up on things and I think if it wasn't for him things would have stalled. he is an outstanding agent who came after we moved to show me things around the house and even tought me how to use the electric shower and opened the water valves for us. We are truly so grateful and thankful. a very personal approach that makes this agency truly amazing. We can't thank them enough for all they did.

12th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)I don't know where to start!!! James did what I thought was impossible! He moved my in laws to a new home - but it took 2 years! With a probate on both sides and multiple delays due to ill health in the family, lease extensions and questions upon questions they finally moved! James is one of the most patient people I know and has provided support to my in laws over and above what he needed to. He gave them the confidence to move from a home they were in for over 35 years. His constant communication always put them at ease and provided assurance when they needed it the most. They needed to be in a bungalow close to family and that's exactly where they are now and are extremely happy. Thanks to James for make the impossible possible!
