5th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)I'm writing this review as a fellow estate agent. I've recently had Rural Scene in a chain with myself and Richard was absolutely fantastic. He is extremely proactive and provided us with updates weekly so that our chain moved forward smoothly and we have just today exchanged contracts. If anyone is looking for a rural estate agent then I would highly recommend Rural Scene. As an agent myself the good ones stand out and Richard is brilliant.

3rd Feb 2022 (2 years ago)I spoke to without a doubt the rudest man when enquiring about renting one of their properties. He was very old, kept talking over me and asking extremely personal and totally unnecessary questions. He seemed to think I should be pandering to his every word just to stay in one of their rentals. This put me right off and we went with Morris Marshall & Poole instead who were so much nicer. We have heard of similar experiences with this company. Stay away from them!

27th Mar 2024 (9 mo. ago)Unprofessional. Cobb Amos were commissioned to assess and value our property. 5 minutes before they were supposed to arrive, we had a message that they had cancelled, due to sickness. A second appointment was also missed. We later learned that they had done the valuation in their own office and told the company who commissioned them that they would visit the property to confirm their assessment. No way.
13th Nov 2024 (10 weeks ago)I dealt with Seb went renting my new flat and he was absolutely brilliant, helped me out the whole through and dealt with the situation with minimal gas, cannot recommend Samuel Wood enough!

2nd Jan 2025 (23 days ago)Rachel at McCartneys handled the purchase of our new home extremely well. Communication was faultless with swift replies to any queries. Nothing was too much trouble ....... which was just as well as the purchase turned out to be a little more complicated than is usual! Many thanks indeed.

We purchased our new (to us) home in Herefordshire thanks to them. They were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, from initial viewing right through to completion, and everything in between. We'd thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property in Herefordshire, and would not hesitate to employ them if - heaven forbid - we ever wanted to sell our gorgeous home.

They have answered every email I've sent. After reading the reviews I thought I'd leave one of my experience. I've not had a property from them as of yet but just enquiring and then viewing they were extremely helpful. Tina

19th Jan 2017 (8 years ago)Being first time buyers, we were very anxious about the purchase. The team at Knight Frank were extremely supportive through the whole process. They were accessible, professional and empathetic. We are particularly grateful to Sam Burston and Michelle Wilmot for their active roles and prompt communication. Sam did a wonderful job striking a balance between acting for the vendors and taking our needs into consideration. It is easy to see that he loves his job. Thank you very much for making our dream real!

There was no pressure applied, but good advice given in relation to marketing. They achieved a sale price in excess of the guide and were completely reliable and trustworthy throughout.

(2 reviews)26th Apr 2020 (4 years ago)At first they were really helpful, but after a few weeks we heard nothing from them. They were rarely able to do viewings, so we had to do them ourselves. There was no feedback unless we telephoned them. We were told that a specific person would be dealing with our home, but this person changed 5 times! There seemed to be obvious problems within the staff. We are very disappointed. After the lockdown we shall be changing our agent.
3rd Oct 2024 (16 weeks ago)We knew we were selling at a lower price but they found a buyer quickly and knowing there were no estate agency fees or solicitors fees brought the price closer to what we had hoped for.
26th Dec 2023 (1 year ago)Id give a lower score if I could! Stay well clear! Made an offer on a property for the full asking price after viewing. Was told there were no offers on the table at the time. The agent didn’t even acknowledge the email for 3 days until after id been chasing. Then was told 2 other offers had been made after my offer! As such, increased my offer which again wasn’t acknowledged. 3 weeks later to then be told my offer was not accepted and that the seller has gone with a local person who had more of a deposit than me? Couldn’t get any more local as I currently live within 200 metres of the house in question. Also, a higher deposit than me did not matter as they still needed a mortgage…. More excuses made by Paul saying he didn’t want to start a bidding war! A friend later rang Paul and offered £75k over the asking price and was told no more offers could be made as 3 offers were already on the table. Surely whoever offers the most gets the house??? This just proved it wasn’t a fair contest. Wouldn’t tell me how much the house went for in the end or who’d bought it. Works also started on the house a day after I was told my offer hadn’t been accepted! This was surely an inside job as you cannot buy a house and get all the legalities sorted within a day! Or maybe their offer was accepted 3 weeks before they’d told me I wasn’t accepted you may ask? Don’t sell your house through this joker! There was obviously an insensitive to choose which offer was accepted rather than who offered the most!!! The man’s guilt is written over his face as he likes to hide from myself and family members on the street! If you weren’t guilty, why would you try and hide? Stay clear folks!
