The amazing staff are so professional and able to answer all enquiries quickly and clearly. As a purchaser they helped to organise and expediate my purchase process, and as a seller they got me a great offer on my property in no time at all. Truly a service that cant be beat! 19th Jul 2024 (6 mo. ago)I wasn’t going to write this but I think people should be aware. Back in winter from October to January, I moved into a flat rented by M L Estates. Since the first time I tried to put the heating on, it didn’t work, there was also a leak that’s caused a wide spread of mould into the apartment I was living in. You could clearly tell the issue had been ignored in the past, the door was rotten but had been painted over.This continued the entire duration of my rental period and progressively got worse, with active water coming into my apartment. I reported this back to Kay, and I was always met with hostility, they left me without any form of heating during winter, I could see my breath in the flat, even worse, the apartment had huge windows and a vent in my bedroom letting cold air from the outside in. It was awful, I was told we’ve been an estate agent for 25 years, we can fix a bit of mould, yet nothing was done and there was clearly a history of this kind of problem. I wouldn’t go near this estate agents. They were aware I was estranged university student, yes I had fallen short on rental due date, but given the current climate of the cost of living and being a student in itself, it’s difficult to navigate, this wasn’t met with much understanding, instead a constant hownding “ as she was following the landlord instruction”. My experience was gross negligence, and I would hate for someone else to be in the position. It was only when I googled how long you can leave a person without heating when I realised this situation really was terrible, if I had the funds I would of escalated it, of course they knew that though. I reported this early December, I moved out the very end of January . Just be aware if you are living alone, and don’t have much support, the estate agency is not for you.

The team were knowledgable and supportive regarding the sale and management of an empty house. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Ours ended up being a really difficult move that went on much longer than it should have, and Tracey, Leanne and the team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were supportive, proactive, patient, and they really did go above and beyond. Thank you!

Unfortunately our sale fell through due to the buyer pulling out, but Angela informed us with tact and kindness. Special mention to Wendy, Angela and Lily. Highly recommended agent.

From sale and purchase through to completion they were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Tess in particular handled our sale/purchase progression and was, without doubt, the most helpful and competent person we dealt with throughout any of the transactions. On so many occasions her knowledge helped us to keep the transactions progressing. She recognised our situation and did absolutely everything she could, going above and beyond, to support us at a very stressful time. They were always polite, friendly and helpful and did everything they could to complete the sale successfully. If you need a dependable estate agent look no further.
18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

13th Dec 2024 (6 weeks ago)Pattinson Alnwick went above and beyond. We are both housebound. They brought documents to sign ,helped with I.D taking photographs of said documents where necessary . Sold our property within 29 days. Would certainly use/recommend them .
21st May 2024 (8 mo. ago)I sent a request via rightmove to arrange a couple of viewings. I heard the next day and gave them my availability. The next week I chased them for an update and they didnt have me registered. They then registered me, and said they would contact the home owners to arrange...... 3 weeks later Im still waiting. Not sure how they plan to sell houses if they cant book viewings!!
